Well you can play basically two kinds of OT with a pali. The healer, or DPS. I play the later so here is my input.
as it turns out with 135 aa you can do both quite well.
STR, STA, INT lines i've complted my STR and STA lines cause this is awsome for pvp. The INT line i've found is wicked and I do on average 74% spell crit depending on what gear i have on, 35% melee.
you will need to enhnace your devotion and of course you will need raid armermerment. personally I really like the aggression boost in the strenth line it makes it real easy to tank without a dirge and very nice if you need to pick mobs up in a raid.
Doom rays, hammer gound, excoration (our divine debuff) and Sigal are all really important to the ot. Smite evil does awsome damage.
game play, unless your tank has dirge hate do not use Prayer on the tank until he has the mob under controll. instead try putting intercede on the tank with the ward on you to start with. that ward will pull aggro like nobodys buisness. after the initial pull keep the ward on the mt as often as it is up and other than that crank out he dps and watch your group's health and spot group heal. you will find that in full dps mode you will probably pick up hte mob at some time so it is important that you have two sets of gear, aggro and non aggro/dps gear. if you need to split mobs you will want that aggro gear. oh yeah, you should only (imo) rez meless classes that are on the mob this is because of our crappy rez range and you litterally have to stand on someone to do it. for ot offensive stance and long delay two hander, tanking defensive and sword and board. I got to say that I really enjoy my class now and can tank anything and do even better at ot.

5-8 points in Sentry's Bulwark depending on your gear (HP > all).

Divine Aura = worthless.

Fear Immunity = questionable.

Wouldn't bother with AGI unless you plan on OTing avatars.

Blocking Master = must

Smite Evil = must

I tend to ignore cure spells and the healing line altogether.

Shield of the Green Dragon is the best piece of gear you can get before VP.

If you can't get a mythical epic, use SoD.

Get gear with as much HP and AGI as possible. RoK legendary armor is garbage compared to EoF fabled; go for the latter.

You should aim for the following self buffed:

12k+ HP
4300+ mitigation
10000+ avoidance

Feel free to PM me with any questions.

Unless you had the best of the best out of EoF, I would say this isn't the case, especially since armor mitigation effectiveness is level dependent, and a 75 item with slightly lower mitigation on the item will be more effective vs an 80+ mob than a 70 item with slightly higher mitigation.

If it's +X crushing/slashing/piercing and not the mitigation of the armor, that is equally effective at any level, such as on the Qeynos Guard or adornments, from what I understand. But the items' actual mitigation number is level dependent.

Of course, nevermind the fact that there's some pretty good RoK fabled gear out of T1 - Trampler's Boots, Queen's Venomed Gauntlets, Honorbound Vambraces, for example - that is easy to obtain.

Divine Aura = worthless. Yes and no... I say its worth the 2 points it helps with adds (OK) and in some cases in tempering the autoattack if cost 8 as before I would be less sure. but for 2 points its handy enough at time to warrent the cost.

Fear Immunity = questionable. imho... not worth the 24 points to get it when there are are like 4 encounters its "handy" but with good healers and potions; not such a big issue.

Wouldn't bother with AGI unless you plan on OTing avatars. agreed

Blocking Master = must agreed

Smite Evil = must agreed

I tend to ignore cure spells and the healing line altogether. I took the support line I kind of like raid arnament tho others will question its use with melee AoEs it helps buffing raid (none fighters) by 840 mit. for 1 point extra a cure that's a good recast and sometimes very handy to have... macro it to cast on your main healer is a lifesaver.

Shield of the Green Dragon is the best piece of gear you can get before VP. yup its my baby

If you can't get a mythical epic, use SoD. tbh I would say stick with SoD even if you get epic at least for the intial pull.

Get gear with as much HP and AGI as possible. RoK legendary armor is garbage compared to EoF fabled; go for the latter. Don't bother too much with AGI... sure its nice to get over 60% self buffed avoid and I can do that if I choose but AGI is CONTESTED avoidance so I would head Health/STA if I had to choose stats. As for the RoK legendary garbage?... I would say thery are pretty much equal in mit and health so go for effects if any if they are similar and ignore the tier.

You should aim for the following self buffed:

12k+ HP
4300+ mitigation
10000+ avoidance

Tho you can pretty much ignore your mit figure its the health and avoid that are the big two.
