VP Paladin set gear, set bonus revamp

Hey all, I hammered out some ideas from other Paladins in the game and came up with a template for what we would like to see the VP set bonus changed to, here they are, please feel free to leave feedback on the thread.

3 set: reduce reuse time of refusal of Atonement by 25 seconds.
5 set: reduce reuse time of holyground by 15 seconds.
7 set: Increase Defense 15, increase parry 15, increase INT by 30, increase spell crit chance by 5, increase melee crit chance by 5, increase double attack chance by 10.

This 7 set seems like an uber bonus, but we want our set gear to rival the great effects on instance gear and lower tier raid zones and it is my feeling that it would take an amazzing 7 set bonus as the one I have listed to do so.

aye, talked about this earlier and this would make the armor set actually wanted, as it stands right now people only want the helm for the effect. A set bonus on the 7set like that would make it worth wearing it all, granted i dont see them going for that much on the set bonus, maybe split it up and add the crits into the 5set with holy ground cuz frankly the holy ground 15seconds isnt that big of a deal.

I personally would like to see something like this.

3 set: 20 parry
5 set: 10 Melee Crit, 5 spell crit
7 set: 15 DA, 10 defense, 50 Int, 15% Reuse

i dont have any issues with hate but 15 seconds off the recast on holy ground is pretty worthless though.

The set bonuses need help. Even the lack of intelligence on the set is enough to make it unimpressive to a raiding Paladin... lack of intelligence on the set... /chuckle

Recast reductions on Holy Ground IMO are not worthless. As an OT I have seen a couple of times where even a reduction of about 15 seconds on the recast would have made it easier to grab aggro off someone as needed. However, IMO this should be an "effect" on one of the individual armor pieces, if anything. I wouldn't waste a 3, 5, or 7 set bonus on this upgrade alone.
