Default Spell's that benefit by Marr's Favor

Verdict - max damage increased only. Did not see any increase to min damage.
Refusal of Atonement - both min and max damage increased.
All heal spells and wards

There were no changes to the listed damage for any of our other abilities.

I checked by getting a list of spells and their damage. Then I cast my procs over and over until Marr's Favor went off. Then checked the spell description and checked it vs. the initial value.

This of course assumes that all of the damage amounts are correctly updated in the spell description window. I haven't seen anything to date to lead me to believe they aren't since they update for everything else.

I to see if any other abilities were updated by +spell damage, I chose the spaulders of sanctification since I have a set of 3, and would compare before/after damage values with this shoulder equipped and unequipped. The 3 set bonus adds +75 spell damage and there is no INT on the shoulders.

Verdict - min/max increased.
Smite Evil - min/max increased.
Cleave Faith - min/max inreased.
Circle of Conviction - min/max increased.
Judgement - max increased only.
Refusal of Atonement min/max increased.
Legionaire's Smite - max increased only.

Comparing the two, it's obvious that Judgement, Legionaire's Smite, and a Cleave Faith, are likely hitting the +spell damage cap and that Marr's Favor does NOT ingore the +spell damage cap. However, on the other hand, Smite Evil I would think would not be hitting the +spell damage cap at all, yet it is unchanged by Marr's Favor.

I am going to go naked later tonight and check abilities again but this time with no gear on to see what happens. Will post results later.

Anyone else seeing similar results?

How do caps look with raid buffs\gear as that's where the weapon matters most?

The above was done solo with gear that I currently raid in. At the very least, you should be able to get a general idea of where the proc stops being beneficial to spells in terms of max spell damage, although I am missing masters on some of these still.

I've noticed the same results. Judgement went up 66 damage when I had the Marr Proc up and near 500 wisdom. It should have been almost a 173 spell damage boost. The correct damage boost was applied to refusal but I noticed very little change to spells.

Also, I believe that the AA lines are counted as skills not Spells or Combat Arts. They are listed in the skills tab in the knowledge book and not spells or combat arts. I have not seen any of them effected by +Spell/CA damage or the Marr Proc.

Why the hell are we even trying to justify this POS proc.... our spells are on such long recast timers once you proc the thing you'r looking at +100 damage at ther best if you cast the right spells of the time. does that comparse to +damage +effects for the dutraion... hell no.

Yes I'm angry... we got screwed,

It should a %-based increase on base-spell damage and heals, if anything.

I'm not trying to justify it, I'm trying to show how worthless it is. LOL.

the heroic fabled reward does not increase smite evil, legionnaire's smite or castigate at all for me, it also doesnt not appear to be procing off of heals either.

So you mean they released this without any data of their own? Or had it and couldnt interpret it?

The data is good to have, but the logic was pretty sound before that, hmm but the logic was based on the SOE weapon descriptions /argh, ok better to have the data!

Still no response of any kind from SOE apart from closing threads and posts and the odd banning. No timeframe for a fix, no recognition there is even a problem "we are aware of some unintended problems with the Pal Epic and are going live with a fix in the next Patch" sort of thing.
