G’day, I was wondering if anyone has some good tips on collectable quests and non raid named named that drop good Paladin plate and jewelry?

So far collectable quests and quests in general have provided pretty poor stuff (exceptions being “For a Few Pieces of Metal More” and Skyfire Dwarf Hunter quests) for me as a Paladin.

Getting raid drops is a pretty slow business if you aren’t MT and raid a lot and I am trying to max my gear the best I can, till I get lucky on a raid.

I know the instance sets are out there at levels 77/78 but I was thinking outside of these.

I am looking for items that are good for tanking ie mit/avoid/dps, but feel free to mention stuff that helps healage since some Paladins are drawn to the dark side, ahem.

The fabled Thuuga rewards you can get from the A Fistful of Metal - EQ2i quest line are good (if not awesome) (the nand for pure tankage, the talisman for dpsies), the Sarnak Earring of Station and Dreadscale Greaves can drop off of a few soloable nameds in JW. Scale of the Leviathan is a realtively easy acquisition obtained from the Neutral Zealotry - EQ2i "line" (2 quests). You might also want to do the Sarnak Sympathizer: Part 1 - EQ2i quest line to get the charm reward for that (low level, but nice rewards).

There are a tonne of other rewards and drops - Mantle of the Jarsath Tribe in Maiden's, Armguard of the Farseer in CoA, etc... The Threaded Steel Ring, Reet Eye Ring, Droag Talon Plugs, Nax's Bracelet of Icy Heat, etc... are all quest rewards, I think, that are pretty decent for tanking/dps.

The Chokidai Collar (blue collection quest chardok) gives a nice +2 melee crit, 28 haste, good sta, hp and agi stats waist item.

Head to maidens for Drusella's plate arms, best in game atm imo.

Chardok Queen for earring

Courts of K in Chardok for wrist

Chelsith for plate forarms

Sev x2 in KJ for shield

Reet Helm from collection

Leviathan charm - Chels quest

Weapons collection - KC

earring of station - random named in JW

Tons of decent gear out there to get you going, there are even more if you want DPS side gear like trooper scale boots, etc.
