What Is it that Sony has against pallys anyway??

I mean seriously. think about it. look at the whole freaking EQ story line. Its RIDDLED with pallys, they're everywhere. Mithanial Marr Antonius Bayle, Hell even Lucan D'lere started out as a Pally. The freaking uber drops like Ghoulbane, all the freaking Knightly Orders based on the Pally and Templar. I mean WTF.

first in EQ1 back in the day, Mithanial Marr THE BARBARIAN, and yet yuo couldnt be a barb pally for years...till like PvP server.. huh?

Then this game, and, Well what is Sonys big problem with us being considered a main tank? why cant we get our DA to simply be a 100% like the guards?

Sony means to tell us that When Marr goes into a fight, he goes in behind some "man at arms" dude? Oh and im sure mistar lucan Dlere was standing at the sides as well. or even Bayle.

yeah right, and well just throw out like ALL of RPG history which shows the role of a Pally as being the ONE, the one to stand against unbeatable odds, the one that fights when others turn and flee, the one that charges into battle leading his comrades, the one facing off against the big bad dragon, or the one all alone himself against the hordes of hell...YEAH LETS PUSH FOR HIM TO BE A BACK UP TANK.....

Seriously SOE, WTF ARE YOU THINKING.

If theres going to be only 2 MAIN TANK types, they should be, FIRST AND FOREMOST, the Pally, then Guard, then whatever else is left...

The Only heals worth a fuck are lay hands, which has a retarded recast timer and the ward which is not bad at all. I can honestly say I never use any other heals unless im soloing. So don't try to spin pally heals as an "advantage" I highly doubt you will rally anyone on these boards to that cause.
