Someone give me a quick recap of what's been going on. It's been a couple months since I've logged onto these forums and I'm glad to see they still haven't figured it out.

things are same as always, random folks always bitching bout our class sucks or were broken here or there...some folks thinkin we are still ownage.

RoK is rather interesting, we wanted hard raid content we got stupid retarded content instead.

the paladin epic...its so so, spread is nice, stats are decent, it has a 10% damage absorb thats nice, but the rest of it is completely bleh, a weak healer pet and a +heal/spell damage proc based off of wisdom!

so ya, your not missing much, hows retirement treating ya?

To be honest I'm amazed that paladins are so whiney. RoK was huge for Pallys; holy ground is basically reinforcement. 70 AAs both trees made pallys a huge winner compared to all the other tank classes, which have fewer good AA lines. Crusader itemization looks much better than it was in EoF.

Aggro control has become more difficult in RoK because of the flooding of crit/+damage equipment, and most tanks have to hop on the treadmill to keep up with DPS. But Amends scales just as well as it always did, so pallys come out on top.

I think the biggest problem in RoK for paladins (as well as warlocks and swashbucklers) is the total lack of AE content. It sucks to be a class thats supposed to be specialized in a virtually nonexistent mechanic in this expansion. However on balance, I believe the expansion came as a plus to paladins compared to other tank classes. When they nerf Peel in the next LU, paladins will be the #1 OT of choice again imho. Guardians remain the #1 MT option. Zerkers and Shadowknights kinda have a nebulous position in the expansion; not quite a MT, not quite a OT, and are in need of some rebalancing. Monks and Bruisers are pretty much in the same place they were in EoF.

Comparing to other tanks epics, I think the Paladin epic weapon is fine, tbh. The Symmetry proc is kinda lame, however many other classes got lame procs as well. It's only compared to the Guardian/Assassin epic that the paladin epic blows. But honestly, pretty much all epics blow compared to those ^_^

Retirement is great. I do miss the old guild and all my friends from here. The only game I usually play now is Call of Duty 4.

i personally could care less for any other classes epic, i have the mythical, ive tested it, its not as good as you think, maybe one day before mobs are nerfed to hell you'll get it and test it yourself, you wont be as happy as you are about it, i didnt think it was that bad till i got it myself and have had teh time to play around with it.

Its better than any other 1 hander available, But its fucking lame compared to some other mythicals imo. The fucking Holy Avenger is a joke. Also, everyone loves the focus on Wisdom for effects, at least I know I always put Wisdom above all stats when looking for gear. Fuck Stamina, Strength, and Intelligence. Just pile on the Wisdom for me!
