T1-3 would be easy. VP a paladin will die more than guard from spike damage just from sheer lack of stoneskin abilities, but considering a guard will die anyway at a bad time, it's not a matter of possibility but a matter of degree.

I would bet at least a couple Paladins have MT'd VP already when the guard missed a raid.

I have tanked pretty much everything other than Overking, Nexona, and Druusk so it can be done but it is a bit more difficult cause of our lack of short term/emergency type abilities. You cant even compare DA with ToS. The recast and mechanics of DA make it useless on most named where as ToS can be used every couple mins or so and works much better when used. Like i said though it can be done cause the only reason I havent tanked everything that we have killed at least once is cause I can hold aggro on the adds so much better than a guard so it really makes no sense to use a guard OT and pld MT on stuff like Overking and other fights with adds if you can help it

paladins do however make the very best offtanks for adds on nexona, druushk and avatars.

We can easily tank T1-3, many including myself have done it. I have tanked maybe half of VP when the Guard is away or dead and it's all pretty cake. I MT the Phara Dar encounter as well with no issue. OT'ing remains are true role though.

Aavatars/Trak/Tang may be a different issue, but a casual raiding guild flirting with the idea of VP loot could do worse than a Paladin MT.
