Hi all

I'm on the step where I have to kill Terror in Shard of Fear and I got some questions that I hope you will be able to help me answer.
1. The wiki says that I need to clear the zone for Terror to spawn. Does this mean kill everything including the trash mobs? Or just the nameds in the zone?
2. A friend of mine tells me that the zone is finishable with a good group of 70's, so I'm assuming a mixed group of 70-80 should have no problem with this and Terror?
3. Gaurdians also needs an update from Terror for their epic quest. If I had a gaurd in my group that was on his relevant step, would we both get our updates? Or would we have to come back another time and kill him again? I'm assuming the answer is yes to us both getting our updates, but just want to confirm it.
4. The monk I need to kill afterwards, is he easy enough for say a pala and dirge? Or would I need at least a proper healer in that group as well?

Just clear shard of fear as normal. Do the tower events and place the items, and you will be fine.

If you can kite the monk, it's easy. Otherwise bring a healer.

Thanks for the reply, but I've not done anything in Shard of Fear before, so when you say clear as normal, that does not really help me. I still dont know what "normal" is.

I've looked for a walkthrough of some kind for that zone, but have not been very successfull.

There are clues planted throughout the zone that give you quests to help figure out how to complete the zone. No walkthrough is needed.

For the monk, yeah, bring a healer. He's a huge undercon IIRC and if you whipe, you will lose the item that you got from Shard of Fear and have to do Shard of Fear all over again before trying again.

For Shard of Fear, Onra is right. It's something like do the towers, get the harvestables on the floor in the towers after you clear them. Then go to the pyramid and use the harvestables to light the fires (3 on left 3 on right) after clearing some trash in the way on the pyramid, then kill Terror.

Quick run through SoF:

Run down the right path, to the tower, clear zombies, clear named, harvest.
Run back to zone-in.
Run down the left path, to the tower on your left before the apes. Clear zombies, clear named, harvest.
Continue down path to lizardmen, clear lizardmen, toss bodies into pits, clear Wraiths, have 2 people harvest.
Continue down path, turn left before the skeleton dragon, continue forward, at the T turn left, head towards the final tower.
Clear zombies, clear named, harvest.
Go to the tower you passed before the final tower, put harvests from lizardmen area into pillar.
Jump in, clear all roamers, place tower harvestables into bins around the Ziggurat.
Terror spawns, kill it.

You've cleared SoF, CONGRATS! If you took longer than 40 minutes you suck.
