Default THE TRAINING WALL

Hey , just a thought, I'm going to go home and beat the shit out of the training wall and see what my parse is.
We have a lot of posts concerning this, and I think it would be kind of cool to post some parses on that wall. If we do that, and post our general gear concept, whether we are in raid gear, instance, fabled epic or mythical, 2hander, just all the basics and say what you parsed. I'm at work, but I'll let you know.

That's funny... cause I can't find a dragon to kill to get my shield. Too many campers.

Ok... the training wall is located in the tabernacle of pain, on the beach to the southwest, on the tabernacle island, face north and you wont aoe anything but a vase. The wall has 128,500 hit points, and is blue con at level 80, but heres the best part, it doesnt fight back! yes you can sit and clobber it for a very long time. (edit: kunzar jungle)

MY RECOMMENDATION:
1. Auto attack only for the first 1 minute. Check your A>C>T parser and see where your at with each of your weapons you use. This is your average with no debuffs, no extra group buffs, this gives you an excellent base line.
2. try out your potions you use, your racial traits, by smacking it down for a set time, run away, break encounter, then check parser, now equip your special potion, gear, whatever you want to see the difference with, and then hit it again, same exact time, ( close to) to get a good average of the difference.
3. This wall has 128,000 hit points, and you can get an awesome idea of how long it takes between your spells, and reuse timers, and remember, you cant debuff the wall, I used it anyway just to keep my spell casting orders from getting out of whack.
4. switch your main weapons out, between 1 hander, and two hander.

ok with that, here is what i was able to do.
Remember, I am struggling with getting my dps up, so this is my results, you should be doing better then me.

1. epic weapon/penitent greatshield, offensive, 5 fabled tank from t1 raids, and 1 shard of hate neck adding health/power/str/sta, fabled. all rest legendary top instance/quested gear. 11,500 hit points self buffed.
average 750, from 690- 850, complete wall knockdowns, so these fights were wearing thin on power/spells, just waiting for one to come up. This was discouraging for me, but then again, 2min plus single encounter fights are not our strong points.

2. nathsar shortsword/ same gear only add selnok helm/wristguard/3 legendary dps gear, 10,200 self buffed, offensive dps gear.
average 900. low was 750 high was about 1,050. but averaged a lot of high 80's, full wall completion. Again, disappointing. Since the sk was there doing it too, and he was averaging 1,600.

3. udzaks cleaver, which is a fabled 2 hander t2 raid, (spelling) plus all dps gear i have , (not much), (mostly tank with extra bonuses for dps/melee/DA/RA), offensive,
average was 1,400. hit 1,700 once on a full destruction of wall, less then 2 minutes. Average though was a high 1300's-1,400.

4. remember, if you dont like what you are doing, just walk away from it, and break the encounter, it resets.

I would like to see what some of you guys are doing, I want to strive for something more, and please... I don't have devastation fist, so just post your pally results. I hit average 2,800 smite evil/ refusal of atonement/ and legionnaires strike is averaging 2,400/ doom rays 2,400.
in a raid, i finally topped 5,500 with slash, i was very happy.
So let's see what you guys have, and hopefully you get something out of it like I did.
Good luck and have fun!

He was a breif run of 11 fights on the wall. Probably should have more as it's hard to get an accurate measure with just 6 minutes of fights, but the numbers were fairly consistent.

Averaged about 3.5k DPS full out.
2.3k DPS will just auto attack.

Self buffed at 81% melee crit 80% spell crit 68 haste (98 with swiftaxe) 63 dps (108 dps with procs) and 33% double attack (58% double attack with procs)

im new to the class but how did you get 80% melee crit constant as a paladin?

Edit: N/m I guess with all the new raid gear it isn't hard, right?

If you check out his gear he has nearly a full set of VP set gear among other things equipped. I sit at right about 60% without about 3 or 4 pieces of melee crit gear he has, each of which provides like 7% melee crit or so. He's obviously been farming Trak's Lair and VP a while, among other things.
