    Okay so I made some significant changes to the tanking trees aside from shadows. I feel the heal bonus is more valuable with the huge tweaks to our heals than the divine aura increaser.

    Dps trees are pretty similar. With the nerf to legionnare's conviction i've dropped most of that line to spec for crusader's faith. (which is hugely more valuable as hitting the mob you put that debuff on will not only heal you but with 10 points in heroic will give 10% accuracy/Strikethrough and decreased mob spell resistance by 10% for 5 seconds over and over till CF wears off everytime anyone in your group/raid damages the mob).

    As far as the heroic endlines i will vary most likely from soulclaim to the encounter damage based on what i'm doing tank wise. for most stuff the encounter nuke is probably best.

    Edit- The Crusader DPS Spec should have 8 points in Double Attack on the Strength Line, I'm not sure why it doesn't.

    Might have been before they changed it to DA. Back when it was haste, it wasn't a big deal. Still should've had 8 points for dps spec, but it makes the oversight more forgivable.

    Also, I can't remember when that change went in, so this entire post might be wrong.

    TSO points into offensive stance here, I value the group heal enhancement more.

    I don't have the slashing increase to my offensive stance but still broken 650 slashing before now; whereas the group heal has saved my group more times than I can count.

    Likewise on ther "MT spec" Im more in favour of shunting the points from agi line into heal crits.

    Althoguh I feel I'm in a miniority when advocating heal crits and heal bonuses as part of our defensive makeup ; but imho they sure as hell make a difference.

    arguement settled in chat channel.. sorry i meant points as in a few of the points spent.. not the idea of the specs. which are mostly ok i'd just put a few points elsewhere *shrugs

    For those that missed it, the general idea that you are a main tank, or main tank who doesn't need quick rezzing capabilities was part of the discussion.
    As available now, you can place points in your rez ability, taunt ability, rescue ability, all for your style of play.
    You can choose to place points in all defensive stats if you have crappy gear, but.. once you get to a point most paladins are at, these are the basic good set-ups, with just a few minor tweaks here and there. Like myself, I need the extra heals, because I am in an off tank group with only one healer, I need Magnus's spec. But if i am going in as dps tank, or main tank, I can take Jeal's spec and do great. The general idea is that you follow 80% of the spec here for maximum potential, and see where the fluff points really do your style best. They chatted for a while about it, and all valid points, except for one newb who kept interjecting some crap. /ignore
