Re: hate/staying alive problems
And don´t cast slow spells in the middle of combat. But if u still want or need to use slow cast spells, do it after a stun CA landed or STA line Kb if u are fighting vs multiple mobs. Don´t cast that slow CAs/Spells without a previous stun.
Vs single mobs, not nameds, save shield bash, kick and sta line Kb for using them when dpsers turns mobs, those secs will give u time to recast clarion and quick damg CAs, and time to see if u can or can´t gain agro again. If things go bad use Holy, his recast is very short.
Vs multiple mobs or risky social pulls at each new room of RE2, u should, after a pre warded body pull, try to open encounter with AoE taunt, then a quick AoE attack like Circle of Conviction (if u have the Sta line cast the KB aoe), then single taunt dot and watch if any of the group are taking dmg, if so use holy ground or directly tab to the second or third mob and recast on them taunts, after those taunts change again to the previous mob. Some times if u have 2 uber dpers in group u can see that Holy ground fails 2 or 3 times or after each tick, in its duration, so be rdy to use sigil too if people go orange or red
Or if there are 2 or more mobs in line of sight without social mobs around, and one near, so u can use body pull, step back casting verdict (It has long range) when the other mobs still coming to u, verict will hit all of them, then AoE taunt all and save the rest of AoEs for when all mobs are at melee.
If u see a possible hard pull with a pair of multiple mob groups, cast sigil after pull or one sec before pull, then consecration, and then DA, this way u should give time to healers to doting heals and other classes time to debuffing.

Re: hate/staying alive problems
And if you have doubts of a who to put Amends to him, because u have 2 good dpers that alternatively turn mobs, put amends to whom has less deaggros. Normally u should let scouts to tank a bit xdd, they can deaggro very well so if they don`t want let them to be damaged a bit

Re: hate/staying alive problems
Run ACT and see who is doing the most dps and put amends on them. If you're still having aggro problems, make sure people are assisting you.
You'll do more DPS if you only use your abilities in between auto attacks.
448 STR / STA / WIS / INT + Blocking Master + Smite Evil = Your friend.
You shouldn't die for any reason with two healers. A brigand can tank RE2.
If you have any questions feel free to send me a tell in-game.

Re: hate/staying alive problems
Ward yourself on the prox pull and precast Sigil then hit every group/AE that you have. Position the multis for Trample.
RE2 needs a lot of prox pulling. Save Holy Ground for bad situations.
I go in in full defensive Soulfire Gladius and Board (Targ with flamesong and Spike adorn).
If people are assisting me properly then Scout agro seems to work fine for amends, my AE damage and Sigil does the rest.
If you are playing with DPS classes that have far better gear than you then spike damage may be a problem as ping pong agro may occur.
Use the fast cast AE/group agro and dps spells/ca's first to get them all onto you, every time I am hit they get the DS from the flamesong and spike adorn which is about 200pts of dps and agro on each mob/hit.

Re: hate/staying alive problems
Ok, number 1, warlock epic procs dehate. Number 2 if you pull with verdict go kill yourself. Pull with the encounter taunt if social isnt a problem and look zomg it debuffs divine? Then when you pull back to turn use Verdict as its a spell you can use on the move. Bam shield bash>HO>Faith Swing> Clarion. Don't waste your ho's and amends the brig because his debuffs are superior hate to the warlocks quick damage imo. And dont be afraid of sigil. This is assuming no one is mythed out. Enjoy

Re: hate/staying alive problems
Verdict better to pull with imho, run up... get within range and start casting move back... then depending on social (if any) encounter taunt / circle of coinviction to lock on mobs... chances are high than even if they resisted one they would not resist all three ... so you porb have enough time to cast smite evil: welcome to no resists 4k nuke each one. BAMN. cycle your CA's and the encounter(s) will be dead in seconds. Named and epics you pull out the bigger guns but cycle your stun attacks and hell even if you loose agro the mob is too stuned to do anything.
Really this is tanking 101 tho.

Re: hate/staying alive problems
I had a similiar problem in Chardok last night. Had a warlock(Without her epic and in instance gear) and an illusionist(WIth epic and pretty raid geared) in group. Now the illusionist would clearly DPS far more than the warlock, but he wouldn't do it before midfight, where the warlock without Amends would pull aggro at the very beginning of the fight. So putting Amends on the illusionist would kill the warlock before I had been able to set hate properly, Amends on the warlock would make the illusionist pull aggro midfight.
Now I won't ask any DPS to moderate it, that just slows the group down as a whole, so it ended up with me keeping Amends on the warlock, letting the illusionist take a hit or two(He had a stoneskin set gear, so he could actually tank about 5 hits without damage) on the trash mobs that died quick anyways. On the nameds I would cycle between Holy Ground, Rescue and Sigil of Heroism, using just 1 of them would help me keep aggro through the whole fight.
We got to the end of the instance but wiped at the Queen because no-one had fought her before and we didn't know of the AoEs.

Re: hate/staying alive problems
I agree Verdict is the best pull ability we have, assuming there are no social aggro issues. The only time I am frustrated with aggro is when there are 2 dpsers in the group that are each sometimes spot on with putting out damage, but alternatively seem to go to sleep. A good amends target needs to be spot on with damage for EVERY encounter. It gets frustrating when an amends target decides to semi-afk, or just not try.
