Tested yesterday an alernative with the SoH shield. Its close to the block of the nerfed Green Dragon and the result was: terrible.
I was hit harder and mor often, as expected. Named fights resulted in hunkring down with Soulfire and defense stance instead of offense, due to those heavy hits I got.
After the RE2 run, I was explaing my healers, why it was so heavy to heal me. They did, we stayed alive but it was really hard to heal me.
They did the same run with an guardian the day before and it was a piece of cake.
I don't moan about obvious nerfes on OP items. But here we have an item that really helped us gettin on par with Guardians (which are not effected at all). After this nerf, we are back to our brothers..the Monks
Our guild didn't made it past Nexona so I'am expecting to do those two after the patch again. Thanks SoE for putting itemisation over needed class balancing.
