This is a post intened to clear up all confusion on amends while also keepin Amends questions to one place for ppl to read. All questions and updates should be posted here and not in a new thread.

FACT: A person can only have up to 50% total transfer.
FACT: Amends is counted as 41%(master) transfer.
FACT: Amends stacks with all other hate transfers.
FACT: Amends on a Swashbuckler, Assassin, or a Coercer while there transfer is on you will yeild 50% total hate transfer from that class.
FACT: Other transfers placed on the Paladin will scale Amends effectivness down.
FACT: Stormbringer Bulwark of the Unstoppable is a hate transfer and also count as 50% hate transferred. So therefore this will scale down Amends effectiveness.

Not that it really matters, but Im a n00b to pallys...

Is the hate gain given from the scout 37% then whatever the enchanters give added to max out the 50% also?

Which speaking of that, dont they have an aa that lowers hate gain by a certain % for any non fighter? Does that reduction come before amends and the scout hate transfer or is it accounted for after?

Yes, hate gain also caps at 50% unless something changed without my knowing.

Hate gain cap = 50%
Hate transfer cap = 50% (all transfers normalize down to total up to 50% when they go over 50%, except Sigil of Heroism)
Aggression caps at 520 at level 80 just like all skills


Also, I had this same discussion with some of the hate transferring classes in my new guild this weekend and one of them claimed that Amends is bugged and only transfers about 14% not 41% at master. I told him this was incorrect, and went on to explain the stacking of hate transfers, and to prove my point we did the Assassin test - I amended him and he put his hate transfer on me. I asked all of our group not to attack the mob except him. I pulled with a taunt, did not attack, and he killed the mob without anyone else's help without ever pulling aggro.

if I did that with my brig or assassin.. they would pull thru amends at least 1/3 of the time if not all the time.
