They stack in a sense that it would nominalize to 50% transfer instead of 41%, but Amends is much more efficient. You can do simple tests in groups yourself to decide which is better.

Turn on your trak shield and tank for a zone then take the same group to a very similar zone and try amends.

Amends > Trak shield, I think the Trak shield(clicky) is mostly used by Shadowknights and Warriors.........

First, I don't understand how 41% (Well 42% now since Amends is a master 2 choice) is better than 50%?

And second, I like Trak's stats over Savage Wall and if it virtually gives you the same avoidance why not use Trak's shield simply based on stats?

Because almost half of the hate gain from someone who is putting up a ton of hate/dps is more than getting a group wide siphon when alot of the people in group aren't generating close to the hate that the Amends target is?

If you still don't understand I can explain it in detail and make a few examples for you........

So the main reason not to use the clicky is because it scales down Amends to 35%. I thought it stacked where you get 41% + the 15% proc without down grading Amends (or 41% + 9% and downgrading the shield's proc), haven't had the chance to test it out since Trak is a hoser and doesn't want to drop his damn shield.

All active transfers get normalized except for Sigil of Heroism.

So, if you have 41% amends, and four 15% transfers, they all drop through normalization so that they numerically add up to 50 total. It dampens the affect of amends unless everyone contributes the same amount of hate, which they don't. I don't feel like doing the math but as an illustration (these are the actual results), you'd end up with something like four 6% transfers and amends transferring 26% from it's target instead of 41%. If the amends target is generating considerably more hate than the other transfers, the normalization results in you building less hate than if you didn't use the shield's hate transfer ability at all.

Again, Sigil of Heroism ignores normalization. You'd end up with a 41% transfer from amends, and four 32% transfers.
