TSO Shields?

More so than ever with all the shield effectiveness now in TSO and the added % from new AAs, the better our shield is then we're going to survive even that much more (it's a % based increase so the better the shield the more block you get from shield effectiveness). That said, I'm wondering if anyone has seen any shield loot in TSO that compares well to Trakanon shield? I still don't have a Trak shield but am curious as to whether it's going to be worth it to try to get the guild to keep working on Trak until we get one more (I'm the only tank that doesn't have one as far as I know).

Sorry i haven't been around much. SOme of you know why some don't, regardless: IMO hope for a shield from our "epic weapon like" questline of this xpac. Just because i think its cool lol. I'll see you guys around.

I haven't kept up much with beta the last few weeks tbh, so I'm a bit behind. Do we know anything specific about the epic quest line, or is this speculation? Also, I'm assuming we won't see anything from our epic questline until next year just like with RoK epics? If that's the case, I need something better now not later. ;)

There were some screenshots on the beta boards for the rewards. I don't recall seeing a shield.

unless they have something with a lot of crit mit I dont see traks sheild getting replaced.....

The only shield from the signature line was a buckler.

Also, remember trak shield is getting changed w/ the block chance nerf.

I only saw instanced shields and they were cool but not as good as the raid drops obviously. One was a crusader style DPS Tower or Kite. It was neat.

I have seen 1 fabled shield in TSO that offers 10 more protection after calculations than the Bulwark from Trak. But the stats on the Trak shield were better and not worth the extra 10. NB I think the trak shield comes in at somthing like 1896 ish protection after adding the 5% effectivness now, and the new shield came in at 1910 ish.

I picked up a nice shield off the second named in Tomb of the Lost Crusader last night to replace my Enduring Wall (no Trak shield!). Overall it added ~600 total avoidance.

I'll try and get a SS or a link later.
