I replaced the mantle with the void shard shoulders because tbh, a: it's giving me more avoidance, b: in raid with procs i see my DA at 90% already now

got the gloves also now from that set because in general all the crits and stats better than gloves i had from thuugah lol.

Other than the gloves and shoulders that worth infusing to get crit mit and tons of crits no real need for more than that tbh.

how can the shoulders give more avoidance when they have less +parry then jarsath shoulders, and no SE / defense?

Was actually wrong on that.. the mantle gives between 0.4% to 0.1% more depends on how much parry and defense you got.. but anyway more crits and stats= 4% da and 0.3% avoid imo.

Which set of gear does Paladin want to tank if he does not plan on raiding but plans on doing group instances...which one is better?

gloves+shoulders+bp and don't need more than that.. can ofc get two more and get the 5th piece but i think it's a waste.

How many people have replaced their drusella shoulders with the void armor?

Currently i still have my ROK tank gear macro and ROK/TSO DPS gear macro, plus i added a Void Shard gear macro. When tanking lately i have kept the void chard gear on and have more mit than my previous tank gear plus better crits on heals/spells and about the same on melee. Double attack took a small hit but the STR line bolstered that back. Currently i have a 6 piece set of the Zealot(the lower end legendary via crafting it and saving 6 shards). The 2 piece bonus is meh but okay, the 3 piece bonus is 150 hate on target for each melee hit the mob does to you(bear in mind the mob can resist like our normal taunts. The 5 piece bonus set is 5% more armor effectiveness, similar to our defense stance and stacks. The shoulder piece has 2% more effectiveness, for a grand total of 22% more mitigation effectiveness with 5 pieces including the shoulders and defense stance. The void knight armor changes these to 7% mitigation effectivenss on 5 piece and 3% on shoulders.

I inspected a shadowknight that had 3 of the voidknight pieces while i had the 6 pieces of zealot on and it was interesting to see all the armor displaying at least 700 mit on it. Granted this and Holy Warrior armor pales to the Fabled patterns, but till then i am bringing in enough void shards that i can afford both...:-)

I still can't bring myself to by the shard gear - maybe for looks but so far collected 50 void shards and nothign to spend them on... my guild hates me :P
