The point of it is not that tanks should be tanking this way, the point of it is that tanks can tank this way after the changes.

That fact that it will be possible makes any tank class a worthless sack of shit.

If you are going to make a macro like that to play why don't you just buy a bot program and use that cause you obviously a lazy pile of fail........

that macro doesnt make it so that any person can just spam 1 button and hold agro with the same efficient as of us "backyard grillers" that obstain from the lump of shit you pay for at McDonalds.

Sure, on a single target mob that doesnt do jack shit you can hold agro fine. Now lets go look at a mob that stuns, stiffles, knockbacks, with adds, and memwhipes... Good luck with your 1 macro getting the job done as effectively as those of us that dont macro loads of shit into 1 button. Myself, I'll be waiting to use holy ground and rescue, and sigil, and... (the list goes on) at the right times during a fight.

Secondly, are you gonna use all your healing/protection abilities in this macro as well? Zomg epix!! Heal macro go! (thats sarcasm caz i know some of you were like zomg thats teh uberest idea evah!)

The fact that such a macro might make it possible to automate threat like this and have any success points to a major flaw in the concept of "making people work for their aggro", imo. A macro like this defeats the whole purpose of these changes.

And if each tank sub-class just tweaks it to more accurately represent their own class, then there will be a bunch of virtual bot tanks. And that will suck.

Why not just let a group hire an NPC tank that has this macro in it's AI script? /sarcasm off

It would work depending on your amends target *roughly* as well as that macro would. Granted not as effective as that 1 button macro.

I'm not disagreeing with the point that macro is trying to make. I'm saying its not as efficient. Spamming shit almost mindlessly is boring and lame, but that macro isnt gonna be optimal anyways for reasons mentioned above.
