With as much noise as Paladins were making about our death save. Why did they go the route they did for our new set bonus? extra heal amount and a 30 second faster recast?

Was someone actually complaining about that? The stun was the bitch part of that ability, not the heal amount. And decent healer can recover a Paladin from 18% health after huge spike dmg.

I would rather have my 10% base healing back. At least you could slap it on a defiler, was much more beneficial if you ask me.

(and 500 hp? seriously?)

If they would remove the damn stifle/daze from the death save it would be worth using, as it is now it's fucking horrible. I wouldn't use 4 set and 5 set is MEH!

Thats what I was trying to get at, with a friggin 12 second stun coupled with a death save... as a tank... that is more than a little frustrating. 95% of the time this goes off while tanking, and being stunned for that long of a duration while tanking can do more harm then good. This went off while tanking an add on Anashti, and when another add came I had to watch the add beat on the squshies for about 4 seconds before I was able to do anything about it.

the change is absolutely pathetic and we still get the 12 stun... what other tank has that kind of penatly to a deathsave? someone plz fucking enlighten me.

5 percent... that will do nothing at all imo.. completely unoticeable in my experience.
