I would like to know what you all think and how I could improve my DPS.
Im not a very good Paladin, , would love to get better, a little atleast

My current setup in aa is as follows;

I hope this is readable and understandable for you.

I never make parse in a raid and in general, I dont put very much DPS out at all.
I get out parsed by Berzerkers and others all the time. Is it normal to get outparsed by a Berzerker?
I have tried various casting orders as well and nothing gets me over 1.5k I do not have my mythical yet( only epic fabled version) and my gear is VP Raid and T2 shard ( 2 different sets I use, but 90* of time in T2) i am not the MT in raids.

see that 5 on your str line?.. lower that to a 4 and put that point in the third ability in INT

if you have your vp raid set using 4 of that whenever possible will help you out a ton.. since you probably aren't near cap on your da/mc stats..

as for the rest.. you have got to be spamming ca's.. casting order for pallys isn't quite as important as not missing your auto attack which will do the largest portion of your dps.. by spamming your long cast ca's and spells you are delaying your auto attack causing your swings to never happen or happen much later than they should.. this is the most important thing to learn for any melee dps class

use a method to time your auto attacks.. the new auto attack bar.. i don't personally care for but some do is one option

the act timer which will ding when you land an auto attack..

or my method which is simply to have two sounds for hitting and missing that i use through act as well...

based on the makeup of your group and specifically the amount of haste you have you need to learn how many ca's/spells/long cast spells and ca's you can get in between your auto attacks and time accordingly... with 120+ haste you can usually only afford one long cast ie. circular smite/smite evil between auto attacks or two quick ones..

don't worry about taunts they won't interrupt your attack

once you've got the timing down.. you should see a pretty good increase to your dps

make sure you're using double attack or melee crit pots depending again on where you're at for each stat.. double attack takes priority for the most part.. also! make sure you use temp stones for your weapon.. i carry around 20 of each type.. melee crit, double attack, and dps mod stones..

if your dps mod is not at the 120ish range in a group you need to do your best to get it there.. through the stones and other items with dps mod procs.. such as the mastercrafted strength ring...

A question, is it better final STA ( Divine Aura) than final INT (Reflect)? I thought reflect is better in pvp servers but I can be mistaken...

I have never EVER found a use for reflect on PvE servers... and I would wager that even on PvP servers DA is better.

I've found out that in PvP , Divine Aura is a huge help, its just like the casters Mana shield ( only shorter length , 10sec)
If you can, put out alot of damage, well atleast enough to bring your opponent down far enough in those 10 seconds, you are usually home clear. It gives you 10 seconds of absolute No damage taken to you.
Ive noticed it helps in grouping as well, like for example when you got a weak or bad healer or something, cast it and BAM, safe for 10 sec.
Ive never really messed reflect, so I dont know much about it

Speaking of ACT auto attack timers. Two questions (sorry to jack your thread pimp, is kinda of on topic though).

A) Why is it when I am fighting the Seventh Hammer, my act timer always bugs out and ding's around 5-7 times per hit. It only does it on this particular mob.

B) What is the text to register a miss? I only have mine set-up for successfull hits/crits/DA's and liked your idea of an audible alarm for a miss as well. At least I will have known it went off.

Reflect is alot better then DA on a pvp server. A good geared paladin have enough survivebility with just the normal heals and arch heal specced.

Really? hmm im gonna have to give it a try. I dont have a aa mirror yet but it will help me , I can try reflect out on this 2nd aa setup. I havent had any experiance with reflect at all

howabout if I go DA and reflect for pvp and leave out maybe str line? as for the raid DPS part I kinda like what Jeal mentioned so far
