Hey Im knew to the pally, I just rolled him about 1 week ago. In my crusader and paladin AA's it says i can only have 50/50. but I know you can have 70/70. so im a little confused about that lol. and second about spell crit, is that only for ca's that are actual spells casted or any dmg ca? thanx for any help.

Untill lvl 70 you can only get 50 in each tree. From lvl 70 on you can spend 70.

The Spell crit will only work on your spells. "Most" spells cannot be cast while running, so you'll know pretty quick on what the spell crit will work and what not.

You can't maximize AAs till you reach a higher level. If you don't know what is a ca and what is a spell you can reference the Efficiency Chart on this Page.

Red = Cas
Blue = Spells

Edit- I forgot the reply to another part of your post. Your spell crit will effect your spells and also procs which are a big part of Crusader DPS. This is possibly getting changed soon but as of right now it still applies.

Spell crit is very important to have as an AA choice and I would recommend you put points into it.

hey yall, ive been following with interest here, and have a question of my own..

currently I have on my 80 paladin/175AA app 69% spell crit and 65% melee crit.
is this ok or should it be more equal to each otehr or should I have more melee crit or keep working at my spell crit%? I raid not usually mt, mostly ot, group, solo, etc

Ignore your spell crit... there is a lot of gear with both spell and melee crit on that is crusader/bard only. Think I got like 118% spell crit once without even trying.
