actually size doesnt matter at all, all dps should care about is where the mob and its back are, being smaller allows a tank to squeeze into a corner easier if anything, but if you need a target on a tank, theres this cool feature called a raid window which works nicely.

like i said before, it doesnt really matter what race you play, the benefits you get from the supposed 'tank races' are usually available in some capacity on all races.

if you are playing your race strictly for stats, by all means choose ogre or barbarian, but i wouldent.

Kerra is great for the bonus mentioned above also the tracking... so useful.

Oh hell, I'll bite...

I play a Dwarf.

This is what they get...

5 Defense, Parry, Deflection
2% shield effectiveness/deflection chance
2% faster beneficial cast
3% Health and 3% Power
33 STA or 33 WIS
and 240 physical damage mit

So...its an alright pally I like to believe :P

...and a few extras, 5% movement speed, Disarm trap, and binding wounds, like a 2% total health free spammable downtime heal?

I do, because I've never pictured the Teir'dal as a scout only race.

Does it really bother me? Not really. But deep down inside there is a bit of min maxer in all of us who really enjoy playing this game.
