Not sure why but suddenly everyone wants to duel my Pally. May be because I'm not particularly good at it. Anyway, the Guardian was easy but having trouble with casters. The last was a Summoner (Lvl 70, Full AAs, Good Gear but not relic, several Masters). I'm level 70 with mastercrafted gear, Not many master dps spells (all those are in taunts) and am kind of low with AAs (50). Anyway, what should be my strategy with these guys. Biggest problem is the last guy invised and got off a spell then ran all over making it hard to stun him. Also, casters seem to have more spell range. Thanks.

Don't know what kind of bow you can get. But I mainly just bow auto attack and use spell nukes in duels. If they get close, stun them then back up. Only the occasional zerker brig or swash can beat me.

we can chain stun for about 8-9 second is you get your ca'a off in right order anything that isn't plate should be about 1/2 if not dead by then.

Oh and casters are by far the easiest to kill bow + spamm your ward + interupts + stuns = dead squishy

Only person you should ever have a prob with is rouges/sk's b/c they can chain stun you but if they get you with there long 4 sec stun freedom of the mind ftw and then you should own them. The only other class that gives us problems is a very well played PvP sk b/c they can kite us and mana tap us death untill we are oop. Not to say they are our bane and i have spanked many fof Sk's in my day but a well played PvP will prob beat you if they kite/ mana tap ya.

A rogue can destroy a Paladin unless they are really well played.

Swashie can use Inspiration / En Garde, etc

Either rogue if they are Agility Spec'd can turn you - when you are turned with a Brig it's a huge amount of burst damage.

Now a really well versed pvp / duel Paladin can win - but average against average a rogue should own them.

Im a wizard and I don't lose much to pallies...actually they are one of the easiest fighters for me to kill :p I also put my divine up over 9k though. So as long as i keep them rooted, they can stun all they want but they aint putting out much dmg. Silly pallies.

Ya but 99% of pallies are fucking tards speced immune to fear. I wish there was like a all server connect Arena type thingy, that way Vir would finally know Mahgnus > Virutis = P

Ya without a stoneksin it rouges hurt bad but if you use DA right before duels starts when 90% of ppl have there temps going you just absorbed all that damge and unless they are a areally good harden player they prob don't look at damage logs so they keep wackin away. after they rougs are cake after the D&D or inspration is gone.

Its funny that a wizzy posted saying that pallies are the easiest for them. I dont really care much for duels but i have never lost to a wizzy. They are actually the easiest for me. I pretty much let them root me and just bow em down. Nothing to it really. Two pallies dueling just sounds bad. I dont think i have the time to actually try it out but I would imagine its kinda like dueling a templar and the last time I did that I was able to use Lay on Hands 5 times.....you do the math
