Had a nice talk with Lockeye at fanfaire and he confirmed with a few other devs that Doomjudgement will be much better in the level 53 form, less recast time scaled damage with a new feature supposedly. Never could get him to say they were doing anything to divine favor, but he did confirm that when castigate hits the targets in range it always does at least 1 buff removed damage and it will add that to the additional damge from more debuffs removed. Tried fishing with him on the ward for revernat sacrament line and enhancing chastising sacrament, but he had said that all the spells were done for ROk and any other changes would more than like go to his replacement. Pretty cool guy in person and hats off to Lyndro for some great PR work on some of the fanfaire meetings. Was good to see some of the devs/players at fanfaire and looking forward to the legends of norrath feature incoming...:-)

I wasn't all that impressed with the new version of Doom Judgment on the PvP beta server while testing the new raid zone. At the time, it was the same recast, a little more damage, and more levels removed. Now, if it's been changed from what I saw there, I'm excited to see what it is.

Nah I would think it's the same as other scaled up versions - more damage, more levels, same everything else.

Hmm, I wonder if the plan is to change the wrath line doomjudgement to shave off some recast time then, Lockeye had stated at fanfaire that it would be quicker recast time , more levels to clear and more scaled damage to effect with the end result of beeing a much more needed spell on the crusader arsenal.

Yeah as I said in my other post, I like DJ, but the recast on it is what makes it shitty atm.

yea i remember when i first got it i was so happy. i could do the same damage of refusal of faith adept 3 in aoe! i mean holy shit! aoe nukage FTW for soloing a group that was labled heroic for xp. then as i leveled it got less and less fun. now i have smite evil and i use DJ when i use castigate and consecrate just since it is some extra DPS in aoe, to burn shit down just a little bit faster
