Zone-wides may be "meaningless"; but they are handy for the pure DPS trigger side of things.

If it turns out when you cast it on every re-text every time its up and it still only manages 1.5k DPS throughout the fight; then wouldn't you be better with an extra 7k health all the time, or even enhancing your heals with avoidance buffs?

I've not had much luck getting consistant readings off the group damage proc currently; (trying to find it on my group-members parse involves a lot of scrolling down).

The reason it's bad for zonewides is because it's useless on most trash. If you want zonewide parses, go down the dps line. Faith is a defensive ability with some offensive application.

If you use it properly, faith will be 5-10% of your DPS on named encounters, not including the damage it will be doing for your group.

I never use it for red text. I'm sure there is some red text you can abuse. I find it much better to stand in front of the mob, cast Faith for every third AOE, and intercept the tank to double the damage.

Dropping the group proc means dropping the highest DPS portion of the ability.
Dropping the group reflect means dropping a huge defensive portion of the ability, AND the highest personal DPS.
Dropping the cast speed makes doubling up on the reflect and proper timing incredibly difficult, especially on fights with inaccurate timers and fast cast speeds.

If you're that desperate to gain the HP, drop the consecrate power ticks and go 2/3.

Faith reflect will be high, but the damage triggers is what I'm interested in most and it is those which haven't been parsing well; considering that is the only DPS option on the left side its why I'm looking at alternatives.

Of course still haven't got perfect timers yet.

I could do better too, I have a plan!

And I'd post parses, but I went linkdead during the fight so I came back to an 80% monkey. Will post them next time.

Btw, the Faith triggers applied to the group are 90% of the faith self reflect amount. You can watch them tally up as you get hit by the mob's stuff with reflect up (Look for the green numbers, it can't crit!)

    If you see

    0
    208380
    0
    549010

then your reflect is going to apply 3 triggers of 675k damage.

I'd say I average 200k triggers on most fights, 400k-ish on hardmodes.

So basically for Named fights it's good...

On AoE hit Faith followed by Intercept right after and get a decent burst out of that? I just betrayed to a Pally to mess around with some stuff...they have a lot of cool utility.
