    good now they can turn every spell from crusader into CA so that if you get "resisted" the timer will be consumed. that should make up for the stupidity of "spellcaster" being able to cast on the run

    Its a new petition to get all crusader spells changed into CAs; so the recast timer starts from zero even if they miss.
    ...and pretty much ruions a crusader's parse with timewarp.

    hoenstly I'm shocked Xelgad thinks crusader's are overpowered... that pretty much showcases which level of players they listen to!

    Still think the only tank class that has a right to bitch is Zerkers, and they aren't as truly fucked as they were 6 months ago, lol. Still bad, but not as bad.

    And duele, yes, I have been in the Pirates zone. Killed the same mobs you have. Guards, Sk's, Monks and even a Zerker in my guild have tanked in there. Our Sk that just betrayed to a Paladin, can't wait for him to go in there. Crusaders and Zerkers rape face on trash in there unless you truly fucking suck. And the fights aren't hard really for any of the classes to tank. Well, the kings are, well, they are the kings.

    To say Brawlers are more durable, I take it you mean without any saves running, we just take hits as well as a plate tank. LOL, no. In fact, with some of the truly idiotic "hit on avoid" mechanics, having a couple hits on avoid plus a auto and a multiattack slamming into a brawler in about a second almost guarantees a death on anything important. I.E. anything that is current to your gear situation. Guess who doesn't have near this problem. Oh yea.

    You even have Crusaders in here telling you that you are greatly exaggerating your views. And why do I seem to remember Duele crying about Zerkers being OP not too long ago. I guess he wants all classes but Sk's to be nerfed. Even ones in bad shape already.

    So in easy dumbed down content it is "balanced" since any tank can tank it? Simple test, put in Brawler MT on a large group of the trash and see what their incoming damage is. Put in Crusader and see what theirs is. The good players will use their saves the way they are supposed to and you will see the difference in damage taken. These mobs hit very hard and you will see a Crusader ping pong a ton more than a Brawler. And my main point was that with AE auto along with the transfers received for tanking any Fighter holds hate well on these mobs.

    Sure, I guess if you for some reason decided to use no saves at all the brawler would take slightly larger hits than a Crusader. Who the fuck is not going to use any saves ever though? Our Brawlers would laugh at this. Every Fighter has the problems with on avoid, multi attacks off auto attack and how about procs off of successful hit. SOE specifically made it so Brawlers weren't streaky by giving them easy means to hit plate like mitigation levels.

    Adrenaline was due for a change, I just agreed with changing it. What they changed it into was another problem. As for the "couple" Crusaders that you think agree with you I have always taken their views with a grain of salt. There is still a difference between a SK and a Paladin and some like the new role of not tanking shit from the mage group. Some are just better players than the Brawlers in their raids. Play with a couple of the top Brawlers in the game and the differences are easy to see.

    I think most of us could live with how things are balanced survivability versus snaps versus agro. The single biggest problem with Fighter balance in raids right now is that any smart raid will want Brawlers for tanking specifically because of Combat Mastery. We won't even try to recruit a Guard to MT since a Monk is just as durable but pushes the MT DPS way up. OT group why in the hell would you use anything other than a Bruiser since they have great DPS themselves, they have the best AE snap agro, and once again everybody in the OT group is in love with Combat Mastery. This isn't going to change anytime soon since CM scales.

    Now, they can either add some real real lame mechanics or add/change abilities for classes. I mean I guess if they changed it so mobs took no auto attack damage you would see people using Crusaders more...I am sure everybody would love that mechanic. Or SOE either goes back and addresses some of the utility other Fighters had that haven't scaled very well at all or they add something new that is as desireable as CM. As a simple example SKs give 10% cast speed/reuse to the group. This used to be an extremely awesome buff for any type of group. Now it is useless since people cap so easily. That shit did not scale well at all. HD is another example Paladins have. What was once a pretty big raidwide buff is a lot smaller and will continue to scale bad.

    EDIT: Back to the post and what I originally was posting about. Brawlers need to shut the fuck up about this minor change that Crusaders get and stop acting like its going to change the status quo at all.

    Our spells will never be changed to combat arts. Crusaders aren't overpowered, and Xelgad knows that. We're in good balance right now. It's the content that determined whether ANY class tips over the edge of "OP" or not.

    This point has actually been confirmed to some degree. Since we had no coercers and plenty of illys at the time i switched positions of my raid alt to raid main and betrayed em from an illy. So now i am maining a coercer and alting on the paladin (which thankfully still gets used). However as such i follow the coercer thread as well.     Crowd Control abilities (and thought snap) work in the Dreadcutter raid and they should work more often in future raid zones.

    Duele, ALL the OT's (well, not Zerkers too much, still pissed my other favorite tanking class got ripped to shit, thanks again by the way) bring something to the table for the OT group. SK's are doing amazing things in the 3tank group (mage style, but I see you don't like that idea) but could do well in the OT role as well.

    Hell, Crusader's faith, as an OT, is amazing as hell. You don't even need 2 points in it to keep you healed. Well, from anything but a 1 shot. Shorter recast than Any brawler melee immunity and you have 2 others as well (kinda, since Divine Aura is like, 50% or below, but most adds and face it, most names aren't melee'ing you for more than 50%).

    I know you know all of this. Hell, I know you are trying to make your class stronger and more desireable and all that shit. I even applaud it. And implying that I need to learn to play from top tier Brawlers, I think I know a little more than you think. I'm not THAT far behind you on mobs killed. And yes, keep implying you have killed more in Dreadcutter. Pretty sure Punished hasn't killed Pirate Kings, so guess what, we have both killed those too. WOW huh.

    Edit: I'll go back to saying that Crusader's, both of them, need at least 1 more AoE (Blue for Sk's, Green for Pally's) snap. I would say 2 but I think it would be better to go with 1 aoe style snap and 1 single target. Single target snap on a relatively longer cool down but something like, 5 positions and the AoE snap on a relatively short cooldown. Probably both of those snaps at the same cooldown. But one would be long and the other would be short for their styles. And to be clear, I don't have a problem with Crusaders casting on the move, but some of the other shit asked for is pretty damned ridiculus.

    Definitely wouldn't complain about another reliable snap, let alone an Ae one.

    Still, with all of the discussions and "suggestions" made by other classes, I'm almost wishing they'd just leave shit the fuck alone, instead of fixing stuff that isn't broken.

    The minute the discussion turned to making all of our spells CAs was when I felt like telling the whiners, "You know what? Go fuck yourselves and don't touch us at all, if it's going to carry with it huge penalties."

    I've learned to live with stopping to cast and can continue to do so, as long as it doesn't mean trying to counter-balance this new proposed mechanic in some wonky, unforseeable way.
