By the way, what class is now the best tank (MT)? And what place in this list takes the paladin? Unfortunately, I know little about other classes, but I saw a monk abilities and was surprised by the amount of abilities for survival.

Paladins are the best MTs right now, followed by Guardians and Zerkers (Depending on what for), then brawlers, then SK.

The amount of hate generation required to tank against the absurd DPS numbers is pretty high, and tanks have to sacrifice a lot of DPS and aggro just to survive this expansion. Amends is pretty invaluable, especially if you dont have a swashbuckler transfer.

Our "soft" saves (damage reduction, Crusader's Faith, etc) are much more useful than previous expansions because getting one-shot is much less often your cause of death. If you can couple them together properly, you should never really die. There are a few exceptions where the tank needs to avoid basically everything to survive, in which case a guardian is preferred.

Plus, Faith is incredible utility and damage if utilized properly, which can only be done if the paladin is tanking damage.

In an offtank role, a paladin is hugely inferior to a zerker or SK, and does basically zero dps. Recklessness enables other tanks to do significantly more damage than we do, since ours disables at any incoming swing instead of a significant incoming hit. And in order to flip flop between a tank role and an offtank role at all, you absolutely need 2 sets of gear.. which is very difficult to accomplish with current itemization.

Thanks, you very much surprised me. At this moment, many, many people believe that brawlers (monks) is the best tanks. I myself was surprised by the large amount of any damage reductions they have.
    2. Can you tell me what your standard order for anti-spike abilities? For example, do you use stone wall on the pull, then the sacrament, then crusaders faith, then stone wall once more time, etc.

Last expansion, brawlers were the primary choice.

Currently, I use Devout Sacrament with Legionnaire's Conviction, immediately try to reset it with holy aid, then Stonewall, then Crusader's Faith, then Devout Sacrament again. If you're taking a lot of damage, use Crusader's Faith with LC and Devout Sacrament during the first round. If that's still not enough, Divine Aura is extremely powerful. Always use Faith on pull and take your shield off. The damage boost is amazing.

Never mix any saves with Divine Aura or Stonewall.

Thanks, so the main purpose of the LC - aggro boost? Is LC used at least somewhere in raids as a reduction of magic damage?
And I have already sent you a question in PM, but can repeat it here. By the way, I tested it on a dummy and for some reason the percentage of my auto-attack never rises above 13-15% of the total dps. Even on long fights. Maybe then my situation it makes sense to change DPS mod adornments on crit bonus or potency?

Mess around with it if you'd like, but I don't think it will help. Time auto attacks!

Yes, LC is primarily used for damage. Some fights it provides a separate purpose, but I don't think there are any where you HAVE to use LC separate from DS to survive.. so use them both for extra dps.
