    Default Raid Armor - ToV

Im curious as to which armor people are raiding with on as their pally. If anyone has any suggestions on which to use please share. I am currently stuck on trying to decide between the potent gear overcharged with max green gems or to use the energized armor with red gem slot filled. Feel free to comment and tell me which you use or post links to your character on eq2u for us to check you out

There's not much difference between the 2 tiers you listed. You'd probably getting a better discussion out of what pieces people run outside of the pure tank set ie: potency shoulders vs block shoulders, potency chest + mit adorn vs mit chest + pot adorn. I personally run full mystical defensive as an SK and have pieces I swap in depending on the situation. It's overkill for some but it's better than getting one shot from an auto.

Whatever lands you at ~17k mit on a regular basis. The rest doesn't matter really. I like the mit BP with the potency adorn.

Yeah my mit is only at 13k atm. Not fully geared yet with jewelry. and have a mix of potent and energized. Just didnt know if i should have one complete set of one or the other.

13-14k solo is just fine. A decent group setup will put you over 17. If you end up with a little more than you need, pick up the fighter potency adorn for the bp. Until then, just rock mit there too.

Don't see a 'decent group' giving you 3-4k mitigation since they removed fighters from priest buff.
Very few classes can give fighters mitigation now, if you used every one available you could achieve 4.4k (Bard, Conj, Druid, Inq + Foundations of Adamant)
    That's asking a lot though.

Bard, druid, foundations of adamant gives plenty. I'm not sure what else gives it, but there are so many procs and sigil is reliable enough to put you over the cap pretty easily. With 15k solo mit, I spike up to 24k-ish with everything running.

It's gotten to the point where I can run the mit reduction raid buff ear almost full time. You can survive just fine at 16k. The difference between 16k and 18k is like, 5% or something. The difference between 17 and 18k is ~1%

Clearly, I do. Because I have access to the truth.

"You'd basically be going from 74% damage reduction to 75% damage reduction with that extra 1K. Not insignificant but it'd be hard to notice in testing considering damage variance. " -Endymion

In regards to going from 17k to 18k mitigation. ACT tests prove it pretty easily. This isn't rocket science nor an opinion paper, lol.
