Default Best raid setup ever

24 paladins.

Think about it. 4 groups of paladins.

Group 1--MT group.
Group 2--Healer group. Everyone in this group cast their avoidance and mit buff on each member of group 1.
Group 3 & 4--Dps groups and back up healing if needed,

In theory you have 24 decent healers, 24 decent tanks, and 24 decent dps.

Virutis and I have talked about this before and he suggested we do this if we get enough people into beta. It would be fun no doubt. Front page material on eq2players for sure.

I'm pretty sure the mobs regenerate faster than 24 paladins can hurt them.

Either way, I bet we could clear Mayong in MMIS after they gimped him more than they did Tarinax.

the biggest thing i would see with this is would be the true epeen contest this would would bring, aka who's gonna tank, aka my dps is better than your dps, aka ton of drama......ok it'd be fun i like drama

I've joked around before with my guild about doing this but never thought I would see it happen. Count me in when beta launches.

I don't care what position I would be in either.

We would have hella aoe dps if nothing else. I think it would be pretty cool if we did it and it actually worked on an at least semi-tough raid mob. I bet it would take a while to kill stuff though. Like i did the MMC part of SoD with myself and 5 healers and we could pull rooms at a time but dang it took forever. Havent gotten an avatar weapon yet and I tank enough already so i wouldnt mind healing I suppose. Just from the quality of the gear I would say tanking would best be handled by either Woz or Viritus. I dont think to many would have any objections to that but who knows.
