Fact is that FoH doesn't get out of bed or stay home from work for a master chest. I'm new to FoH and don't have too many of those kills under my belt, so I wouldn't mind the midnight calls. However, most of the FoH members have killed the various contesteds so many times that the last thing they'd do is get out of bed for one.
Another thing is that FoH doesn't generally 2 box during raids (I don't know why), and I know that Defiance is pretty good at that in order to fill raid gaps. Not saying anything's wrong with that, it's just how it is.
Before Defiance became the capable guild that they currently are, FoH had contesteds every week since KOS was released for four or five months, AND they could just wait till normal raiding hours to take them down. 75% of the guild has the items they really want from those mobs... It all boils down to motivation.
I'm looking forward to EoF when new sparklie shiny content is released and also new loot tables.
In any case, I personally am glad that the competition is of higher class now, than last week, when other people were lurking around.

Oooooo...thanks for clarifying, let me make sure I understand you correctly.
-FoH isn't trying for contested mobs anymore because you guys are all geared up and don't need any drops from the contested. Also the fact that FoH wiped (saw it myself) on the last attempt at 3P would back up the claim that you obviously don't need anything from the contested mobs. This of course wouldn't mean that FoH was turning Soft-core instead of a Hard-core raiding guild though...I mean just because you can't take down a contested off hours doesn't really mean anything right? I think I understand you're point here.
-FoH is against 2-boxing because otherwise if they WERE to 2-box a toon, it would definitely enable them to take down a contested. Fair enough.
-FoH is currently in a rebuilding stage, hoping to get a good enough force before the next expansion comes out. I know how bad you guys got punked when a bunch of x-GoW guys went to FoH and bailed to form their own guild on Mistmoore. Also any guild who can take down a contested before FoH is considered high class. Check and check.
My advice - stick to teaming up with a second guild to
glitch the contested, that seemed to work so well a couple weeks ago. The key is you have to time your raid force wipes equally so you can spread out the mobs damage dealing equally across both raid forces. You have to remember when and how to die, I'm sure you can remember all that (maybe keep a journal and write that shit down).
Good Luck /salute
