New PVP Issues section

Player vs. Player Issues

This new section is for discussion of unique issues relating to PVP gameplay. It is not for drama regarding individuals and servers. Please try and use the new section to get dev visibility for unique PVP issues, and to help PVE players understand the differences between this very different form of gameplay.

After playing PVP on Nagafen for the past few weeks, I'm convinced it is a very different game than PVE. I'm not saying one is better than the other, the same way I wouldn't say that chocolate ice cream owns vanilla. PVP and PVE are different games for different people.

But playing PVP on Nagafen is like playing EQ2 in the middle of a psych ward. I've never felt more at home. And this has brought the life back to this game for me.

Please use the new PVP section for discussion of mechanics and other issues that involve PVP, and not for drama that is better left to the Rate a Retard section or the Nagafen, Vox, or Venekor server sections.

I agree with you LFG, me and a friend from PVE play there on Naggy and it is a nice change. Although there are times where I get pissed off and log; such as lvl 70 healing a lvl 20 out of group, that warp hack...ect. but all in all its fun to play. The best part is ganking bots

Those guys whose health never goes down, what's up with that?

Also the pricks who move a high level toon in range as you are fighting their low level toon, I guess they are hoping you will AE so they can kill you with the higher toon. Those guys suck.

Not sure whats up with the health that never goes down, but ran into it a few times.

My favorite was a few weeks ago I attacked what i thought was a solo white con, it didn't show as heroic.... and I got nuked for 1500 points by a red con. Not sure what happened there ..... I did not AE. Not sure what lvl the red con was but but I am a lvl 19 dirge so needless to say I was one shotted.

Yeah! It's like how sometimes I get bored of too much vanilla, and too much chocolate makes me throw up everywhere, just like PVE and PVP!

A lvl 70 can't heal a lvl 20 unless your in a t7-t8 zone dipshit. Learn the rules before you post shit like this. Its comments like this that does put people off coming to pvp servers

I don't know if it was a lvl 70 or a lvl 50 TBH but it was in Antonica and the player that was healing was a way higher level than the lvl 20 being healed by at least 20 levels. Lets put it this way there was about 8-10 of us mid to high 20's trying to kill the red con, so you can't tell me it was within level range, so is this a recent change? The incident I am speaking of happened about a year ago on Venekor back when there were people there.
And ya shit like that does put people off PVP thats why I stopped playing over there for about a year, I came back and had to reroll on Naggy cause Venekor was dead. There has been alot of changes if that was one of the changes then bravo SOE.

LFG, just want you to know that even if you AE near a red that isn't grouped your AE wont hit him.

It seems that if they are grouped with a red sometimes it's bugged and hits the non red and leaves red unhit, but now agro. I like to target nothing and AE around reds on my lowbies. they get all excited like they're getting a kill.

Edit: yes they fixed OOG healing. Although, if you attack someone level 30 in say antonica he can be healed by someone level 34, even if that person is red to you. so it's still kinda fucked.
