I hear people talk about this all the time but don't know what it is.

Please explain what it is without explaining how to do it, so I know what to look for.

You allready said how to do it in your post just by the name, What it does is cause a player to lag, It freezes the client on the person doing it so they stand sill for a moment in time but the server extrapolates them as running, when they stop dragging the screen the server updates the rest of the game world and the person is back to where they first did it, So it causes a warping effect,


Example would be, you are chasing a toon, you are going to kill it, Next thing you know the person you are chasing is no longer infront of you but 30 meters behind you as you ran past them chasing there ghost so to speak.

Another fun one is minimizing, basically freezes you in game as you minimize because the client reads you as LD, what the fame hoors use to not lose fame in KoS.

if youre attacking someone and it basically just looks like theyre auto running foward. Then when you attack youll get a constant "too far away" message. Then theyll eventually dissapear and be back where the initially started the "screen drag".

another thing youll hear a lot is plugging. Im sure on pve you heard the term ghosting. Its the same thing. When someone ghosts in pvp so theyre in front of you one minute, "too far away" then god knows where the next second.

how sad. i think they envision themselves as some sort of wizard of oz, pushing and pulling levers thinking they're so good to be able to orchestrate that crap
