I've never played PVP, except for a brief 5-10 minute stint before the servers came down in RoK Beta.

Can someone explain, or point me to a tutorial that explains, fame, titles, and pretty much everything esle about PvP thats divverent from PvE?

You can skip the part where you say "You kill other players, noob." - I already knew that.

You'll learn to add faabio to your ignore list in game as well as this forum. His title "nagafen's finest assassin" is sarcastic, as he was beaten by an assassin 4 levels lower than him in a duel.

You get titles / fame by killing people. There are several ranks / titles and you get fame for killing people with your rank, one rank higher, or one rank below yours. When you die to someone within that range, you will lose fame as well.

Other basics, always bank, play your character to his best extent and experiment a little. Listen to people's advice on how to play the class because it will make you a much better player.

Oh, if someone has a higher title than you, they are title whore and evac / run all the time. If they have a lower title than you they are a nub, and if they are exiled they are a douche no matter what.

-Buy plat, because everyone else does.

-Learn to:
*window drag
*glitch through zonelines while in combat
*plug pull while zoning
*stay perma-immune
*use appropriate one-shot "tactics" for every tier

-Acquire the following achievements in T1/T2 chat, in order of difficulty from easiest on:

* "Noob Down" -- Out-troll Matin to the point where he puts you on ignore and/or spams the channel demanding your ban.

* "wall_of_text crits YOU" -- Make a macro that spams chat and bind it to your move forward key.

* "Small Arms Expert" -- Use swearwords 100 times without alerting GM attention.

* "Heavy Weapon Expert" -- Use racial or sexual slurs 100 times without alerting GM attention.

* "Be Yourself" -- Convince a newfag looking for class choice advice to play anything other than a Rogue, Predator, or Druid.

* "Nonconformist" -- Convince a newfag looking for class choice advice to play a Shaman, Cleric, or Enchanter.

* "Furies are good, but they're no Guardians." -- Convince a newfag looking for class choice advice to play a Guardian, Paladin, or Bard.

* "Go Play WoW" -- Rage a newfag so hard that he cancels his account.

* "Pyromaniac" -- Unlocked when someone (other than yourself) starts an EQ2Flames topic about you.

* "Hour of Power" -- You have five minutes to troll up the best shitstorm you can. After five minutes are up, go mute. If the channel remains trolled for an hour straight, this achievement is unlocked.
