Debuff caps in PVP?
What I want to know is, if I play a dirge, SK, and defiler, is it possible to debuff someone's disease resist down to zero? Or is there a debuff cap in PVP?
Thanks

Re: Debuff caps in PVP?
you can brign something to 0 if you have enough debuff power, i know brigands used to be able to do it with dispatch and devitalize but they nerfed/fixed that so you cant do it anymore but if you have enough stuff that stacks you can

Yes I'm pretty sure you can get it right down to 0. There used to be (might still be) a bug with the warlock debuffs. When you zoned the debuff reapplied itself as id you were a x4 mob. I think that may have only been health and power tho, not sure if it carried a debuff.

Re: Debuff caps in PVP?
You can debuff people into the negative as well. This would suggest to me that there is no cap for resists/mitigation debuffs. Same deal with -haste and -DPS debuffs. Can go negative, how far I have no idea though.
FYI, I haven't tested this in about a year, so take this info with a grain of salt.

Re: Debuff caps in PVP?
Only mitigation that seems to work is Physical, no matter how high my magical resists are I still get hit 9/10 for insane amounts and when I'm debuffed below about 4k I resist more and get hit for less.

My mitigation can be debuffed in 1 CA. That's just not right.

No cap, yes zero mit or resists is possible. You should have been around when a dispatch literally took a caster's mit to zero, it was obscene. Ok, now I know you got a defiler, and an SK on Naggy, but please tell me you arent seriously lvling up with that homo Matin's dirge?

Dude me Vlasic grouped up for some DoF instances yesterday and were destroying people in PVP.
SK/Defiler/Dirge is an excellent PVP combination, we were totally wtfpwning people who dared to attack us! I mean, we would totally destroy another group, they would then try to get revenge while we were fighting other mobs, and we'd still destroy them again. It was my most successful PVPing to date. I feel that I must experience this thrill of victory again!
P.S. ding 57 bitches!
