Lvl 80 Ranger Spell Completely Useless

Anyone else get a completely useless lvl 80 spell/CA? Thanks Devs. Great expansion except for the fact that my lvl 80 spell is completely worthless . . . .

Seriously, why even give us a new spell at all? WTF?

For those of you that don't know . . . lvl 80 Ranger spell sounds great at first: Instantly puts you in stealth and your next ranged stealth attack does more dmg (18% more for adept 3).

Not only do you have to be AT RANGE to cast this new attack but . . .

to use this spell we must lose AUTOATTACK so that we get 10-20% more damage from a follow-up stealth attack. Let's do the math. Snipershot hits for 2,500 pvp? 20% of 2,500 = 500 extra damage. My autoattack hits for over 1,000. Ooooh, a level 80 spell that DECREASES my DPS!!!! Thanks Devs!!!!! Fucking douchebags.

Spend 4p on a fucking loam to get this spell made so I can lower my DPS?

Just some advice from the worst ranger on the server: if you aren't going to give us something that actually HELPS us, DON'T GIVE US ANYTHING AT ALL. kk? thxs.

You obviously have no idea what you are talking about. GG

Edit: I used sniper-shot as an example of the most extra damage I could get from this new "coverage" spell. It wasn't a realistic example.

To pull off sniper-shot AFTER coverage would mean a ranged stealthed attack OTHER THAN sniper-shot would need to be used. To think that a ranger would be able to 1) use a stealth attack in pvp then 2) use coverage then 3) pull off Sniper-shot is incredibly naive.

Snipershot would need to be fired off first, then coverage, then Veiled Fire . . . so the extra damage is less than 500 most likely and we STILL lose the autoattack.

I can time it just fine. Time it or not, when I finish my two stealth moves with Coverage in-between, an autoattack is lost in the middle. Think before you talk please.

This is true. We are still OP, I agree. But like I said, just give us nothing at all then.
