Myth or Fact: More Freeps than Q's?

I hear this all the time, especially from Q's acting as though they are playing a harder game, since there are allegedly more Freeps than Q's in PVP.

I'm not sure what level that's supposed to be true at, but I haven't found it true yet, at all. I'm 59 now, and leveled my two toons from 1 in the past month. During that time, I believe I've seen many more Q's than Freeps in all lower level zones I've played in.

Maybe the situation is different at the higher levels, I don't know. But below 60 at least, it seems to me that the player population is either equal, or there are actually more Qs than Freeps playing regularly on Nagafen.

Another thing is, I only RARELY see Qs that are solo or duo. I'd estimate more than 90+ percent of the time, Q's are in groups of at least 4 to 6. I see FAR MORE Freeps soloing/duoing than Qs.

My bottom line is, I don't believe Freeps have ANY population advantages at the lower levels at least. I'll let you know if my opinion changes at the higher levels I'm approaching now.

Are Qs all lower level lockers then?

I swear, in my honest opinion, based on what I see every day and how many times each day I'm ganked in zones up to level 60, it is at least 1:1, if not about Q 1.5:1 Freep.

5:1 is obviously exaggerating, but theres no doubt theres more FP at lvl 80 than Qeynos, as for lower levels im not sure, but who cares your leveling up anyway right!

Yar, I'm just trying to figure out whether the claims by Q's that they have it harder based on a population difference are valid or not. So far, I haven't seen any population difference, or if there is any, it's been in favor of the Qs.

personally as long as them freeport people dont form raids its cool more for my ranger to kill muahahaha (yes im aware i cant play atm and if i could id be lvling to 80 but still)

It's odd, I do find that FPs are much more adverse to grouping or organization than Qs. I'm guilty of the same thing playing FP -- the environment of "figure it out yourself" and 5x the number of newbs on FP than Q (thanks to the recent additions of Neriak and Kunark causing every newb to be evil to start in the new content) contribute immensely to the group aversion.

It doesn't help that people seem to totally lack any kind of MMO social skills, doing things like inviting you to group (or guild!) without saying a word, and when you turn them down, getting all pissy about it.

Livejournal: I was in DLW killing those vultures for a Faire quest and this completely naked Erudite runs up to me and, wordlessly, invites me to a group. I deny. He does it again. I deny again. He stands there for a second and I get a tell: "hey i culd really use help wit these

" I reply "Maybe if you acquired and equipped gear it wouldn't be so hard." He got really pissy about that.

Honestly, it seems to vary by time of day. Some times, zones are completely owned by Qeynos and you can't move 5 feet without getting ganked by some full group of oranges. Other times, the zones are crawling with the same thing from the FP side. Honestly, it seems pretty even at the end of the day...

I'm curious, are pickup groups on Nagafen even possible? It seems like you're in a level-locking guild and run around ganking people, or you're getting power-quested/AA leveled by a higher guildie, or you're double-boxing. PUGs for quests, AA, or general defense versus ganks? They simply don't fucking exist.
