LFG Yes your right there are classes that can give a swashbuckler a hard time indeed and Shadowknights are certainly at or near the top of the list. I don't necessarily think nerfs are in order or anything just maybe a leveling of the field. Sure I am calling out swashbucklers but thats because I feel I have pretty much a zero chance against them anymore. Is this post biased of course it is if I was in qeynos I would be bitching about some freeport class. Its not like pvp is balanced by any means in eq2.

Furies are rather screwed right now in PvP against melee classes. Really the only hope for you guys against people with 90DR+ weapons is to hope root lands and that you can nuke them to death before they reach you, because interrupts, stuns, stifles and the damage is too much for you to be able to absorb with leather armor. Unfortunately, its hard to root a swash outside of reach range long enough to kill them.

Ahh with a name like Big_Fag I guess I should have guessed you would pigeonhole. Furies have always been good in the 20's and 30's, when exactly were they flavor of the month. Do you mean I should have rolled a Swash? Flavor of the year over flavor of the month? My first char on this server was an assassin then a brigand. The brigand was to be my main would that have been better?

Its hilarious that you are now having to deal with high level pvp and the you are crying about the same thing lowbie pvp cry's about furies...If you die to a swashy..do what all the other fame whores do..Run like a bitch.

yes swashes are very very powerful, still one of the most powerful classes in pvp. but being a druid you cant really complain that much. Druids are like the 2nd most overpowered class well almost, they are by far the best healer in the game, and they are so easy to play.

and yes i have played a druid, my wifes toon is a lvl 71 fury now and it is OP i think. fought a ranger 3 lvls above me and he couldnt get me out of green hps, was in a huge group fight it was our 6 man group everyone was lvl 80 except me at lvl 71, we had no tank and the other healer was an 80 inquis. we went up against 9 people which included 4 swashes a ranger and a warlock + tank and a 80 fury (they were all 80) and as a 71 fury i healed for as much as the other lvl 80 fury and the 80 inquis put together in the short 30 second fight.

druids are OP and you have no reason to complain, if you were a dirge then yes you can complain but you are not

Swashy's put up huge numbers in pvp now.. the 2k crits I see all the time. You know its funny, the fucktards at SoE took away focus fire from rangers, duration on leg shot, jeez what else, but they wont fix other classes. It seems like Brigands and Rangers get fucked every single update.

i thought any fury with common sense would try to root someone? Wearing weak armor and generally not having the high health of a shaman/cleric furys tend to take a huge beating in melee combat..

brigs are still good, and anyone that melees can get 2k crits in pvp. assassins brigs swashes zerkers anyone really you just have to have good weapons and some dps mod. but yes rooting or using the ae stifle when he is up close can buy you some time, soon as you heal through their main burst you have a good chance at winning, dont be afraid to deathsave and use your instants if you have to.

what i dont understand is if they took away rangers "OP" focus aim why they wouldnt do the same for swashes "OP" cooldowns?

rangers are still good, swashes are still amazing

Against my SK at least, I find that rangers are the easiest of all classes for me to beat in PVP atm (I'm level 64, seem to be able to beat up to level 70 rangers 1 v. 1 no problem).
