Could swashbuckler's be any more powerful - Page 5

I do have to agree that swashy's are over powered. I'm a defiler and I get one ward up and gets eaten up. Then I'm stunned/stiffled while trying to heal or get a ward off. Use emergency ward and it's gone as fast as it was put on. My words of the ancestors doen't help too much, breaks w/e stun, stiffle, root, mez, etc, but once it's used its down for about 2mins. Wards have a slowwww ass cast time and mostly get inturrupted, it gets to the point to where I say screw it if I cant get a ward or heal off solo and just let them kill me cause I know I don't have a chance to get away. As for grp vs grp pvp and they dont see me, well then

I will admit that I prolly dont know my class that well as I switched from assassian to my defiler as my main and haven't really been that experinced in this type of class. I would love to see another defiler's point of view on this as they are pretty hard to come by.

Aggony, Defilers are not very suitable to for onevone. Long cast time wards, as a main defense, and its so easy to intterupt it is ridiculous dont feel bad. Amatheon, my comment of no auto attack in reach is in response to your 2k auto attack comment. None of our CA's hit for 2k in pvp, and 1 is rare. Its all combined they are nasty.

I played a defiler as my main in PVE since the beginning of DOF, a SK was my main before that.

So I made the same two classes here on Nag, so I could two box and such.

My main on Nag is also going to be my defiler, like it was in PVE. But the reason I need the SK is because, as far as I can tell, my defiler can't win anything close to a fair fight in PVP. So I'm going to PVP on the SK, and raid on the defiler.

I agree that defilers are severely underpowered against just about every class, as far as I can tell. I personally don't see how it's possible to win on a defiler against any other class I've one v. one'd in the higher levels.

A well geared level 30 defiler with Scourge is godly, but at the higher levels, this isn't really a pvping class in my opinion.

Defilers are only good in grps really and if I can get my debuffs on ppl it even better, but they really have no defence against any class imo. Would love to lvl my assassian, but i cant afford the loams and dont feel like harvesting, LOL

Anyways... back to the subject :D

Yea, I do agree defilers suck one v one.
My hubby is a fury (as u know Zaci) and same happens to him as Ama. His roots get resisted all the time and he heals, but doesnt even really effect his health. I can also say that he does agree that swashy's are over powered.
I would still like to know from another defilers point of view tho, if they have ever taken a swashy 1v1.

Are you using harmtouch? and are these rangers well geared? As in a bow that has maybe a 8-9 second delay and a somewhere between 500-800 as a max dmg. As a SK yeah, rangers aren't that bad, it's just the ones that know how to beat an SK you need to watch out for..

I'm kind of PVPing with the bottom of the food chain atm:

1. Players in the 60s with shitty mastercrafted gear like me and

2. Players in the 70s who's pride, skill and gear sucks so bad they hang out in T7 zones to kill the 60s, since they can't compete against players their own levels.

In both cases, I understand what you mean, and expect different when I'm 80.

the reason your defiler sucks in solo pvp is because you probably because you dont have a group and single target ward up when your getting jumped by some random scout that rips your head off
