Just put it on a heavier reuse timer and add three more seconds onto the cast time, hell make it interuptable as well! (if yours isn't already, I know mine is!)

Brigands have a 4.5 second root in PvP. Brigands have Cheapshot and a another 2 second stun in PvP. Assassins have a 9 second root in PvP. Assassins have a 7 second stifle in PvP. Swashbucklers have no control effects and equal to less dps of each of those other two classes. I play my Brigand mainly (level 80) and trust me, Reach is something that class needs to even survive. Playing as a Swash and against one, it really isn't that overpowered.

Jesus Miroh you're such alittle homo. I'm not really know for any of that shit. What I'm really known for is talking alot of shit on the forums. I could start ranting about the dumb shit I've seen you doing in game, or about kicking your ass when I was a Q, or exile, but I don't wanna derail this thread anymore. As for Technics, yeah that's my boy IRL. I don't play her anymore, and whoever said they seen her doing the charm-evac thing, you're right he does do that quite a bit from what I've seen. Which is just one more example as to why we should take evac off the server

As for Dakis response, I disagree, and I did some PvPing on a certain swashy before I exiled him to brig for a friend. I'm not saying I mastered the class or nothing, but the snares were nasty and the mez would definetly qualify as a control effect!
Swashy is still not tuned for PvP, if someone has any better suggestions please post them. Maybe cut reach in half when engaged in PvP?

have you fought a good swash dakis? probably not. but most times by the time you run up to a swash with sprint freedom of action going, your almost dead. that 35m snare that cant be resisted because its a melee attack not a spells is retarded.

and as a brig with m1 and adept3 snares they get resisted by everyone about 80% of the time. basically vs a swash if that snare is resisted im dead and there isnt much i can do about it.

you also forget that as a brig our good attacks are positional, trying to get your positionals off vs a good swash isnt as easy.

reach or the cooldowns need to be fixed (yes cooldowns still) 150-200 dmg each hit is still retarded considering a swash hits you like 700 times in 10 seconds. 500 dmg a hit was totaly OP but still almost 200 is still crazy. inspiration is still like 30-40% of a swashes dmg in pvp according to ACT.

right now swashes are the only class with good temp buffs for pvp, rangers got theirs taken away probably because reaching 100% crit wold be insanely op in pvp. you can even take my "uber" brig temp buffs away for pvp if you take the swashes away, 30 haste 30 dps zomg uber. id trade for 200 dmg every hit.

This is a very good point, how does another class get off thier positionals against a swashie using REACH? I'm just stating the obvious here. Swashy isn't tuned for PvP. Doesn't it strike anyone else as slightly odd that there are 5,000,000 swashies running around on Nagafen? Most of them alternate thier hotkeys only between TEMPS for gank, and EVAC. I'm not crying to gimp them, I just like a nice competitive PvP atmosphere.

I guarantee you that a Brigand has much more DPS in PvP than a Swashbuckler could ever imagine, it's just the way it is. Swashbucklers have AoE DPS while Brigands have the single target dps.. Positionals are easy to get off, despite the class you are fighting, unless you're fucking retarded and can't watch a few things at the same time. Inspiration is about 10-15% of a Swashbucklers DPS in a 13 second fight (the duration of it) and about 5% in a fight 1 minute plus. Autoattack is the DPS you guys should be complaining about, not Insight (Inspiration). Using REACH (as Dankshasta types it), you could formulate a strategy by using Sprint, Flashy Throw, Freedom of Action, whatever... I'm sorry Brigand isn't the easymode class some of you signed up for when you made them.

Do you ever hear Brokensword, Nightmares, Scrotty, or Become bitching about REACH? No... because they actually combat it by not sitting on the forums bitching out their ass, but instead learn how to fight it and do well against it.

A good Brigand can and will always beat a good Swashbuckler, and if you can't then you have some work to do. Assassins are about fifteen times more overpowered than a Swashbuckler and Brigand combined, but you guys wouldn't know that because you don't have any to fight against... their DPS is far more amazing, and they can do it all from a range.
