no because you RARELY see them out, iive seen nightmares once in a full group since ROK has been out, brokensword twice in a full group, and become only a couple times, and scrotty maybe once.

in group pvp swashes are even worse, good swashes are parsing 800 - 1k in pvp in group and raid pvp. but if you look at the whole picture a swash is great solo uber in groups and raids, where brigs are great solo, decent in group pvp, and not so good in raid pvp. in big groups where you have to find the person get behind them and be able to dps where a swash literally run in circles through the raid with a target mashing buttons because they have no positionals, they just have to be in the general area. and then hurricane gives them lots of extra dps.

and again positionals are not easy trying to get of when the person you are focusing has sanctuary and can just run around and you can barely get anything off.

i know you dont wanna see swashes nerfed but c'mon dakis you know they are rediculous

i say just give each side either class, because i would definitely go swash just so i can pop cooldowns and be OP, but this toon would just be an alt then and id get to play ranger heh

The people you mentioned might not post on theforums, but I have had conversatione with two of the four you mentioned about the issues with swashies, and most good players list the same balancing issues.

Dakis you know the class as well as anyone, don't pull a Brocolisword, and start defending Swashie with a bunch of bullsit excuses, or by calling people out on the way they play thier toons. Admit it man, they need rebalanced for PvP.

You want the truth? The truth is: Brigands and Swashbucklers both need nerfs badly. You can kill any other class as a Rogue with ease... I mean without even thinking about it. So in this case I'm talking 80 Swashbuckler vs. 80 Brigand and believe that I'm not pulling this stuff out of my ass, but Brigand > Swashbuckler 1v1. Group/Raid PvP is an entirely different story. As rare as a good Raid vs. Raid or Group vs. Group, Brigands have Amazing Reflexes which can be kept up for a good 20 seconds - AKA the best main assist you can get because group taunts and AoE damage isn't going to be coming for you. Swashbucklers have Hurricane and can put up good numbers, but everyone here should know quite well by now that numbers mean dick.

Yea, both classes are OP compared to the others for the most part as far as just the class by itself. Not talking of gear, aa's etc.

But since they really don't test shit out all that well it will leave another class being OP and continue the cycle. And every time one Developer leaves...someone takes their place just to fuck shit up even more.


Yea, was kinda shocked when I took down Swass in a 1v1 when I was like 75 or 76 and him 80. Not shit talking by any means, it was just an unexpected outcome. I was rather use to the ass beatings I got when our paths did cross.

Seriously why isnt there way more assasins are overpowered threads then. Those fuckers get practically a pvp belt with that 13 secs parry they get and its on a 2 min recast. Stack that with a pvp belt and wtf? Ppl need to just quit bitching. We all have our advantages in some ways or another. I guess thats what theyre doing by balancing. Swashys dont have it as easy as everyone makes it out to be anymore. Especially since most of our new attacks arent much of an upgrade from the master t7s. Learn to play your class more efficiently tbh.

assassins and rangers both get the end line ability and its a 12 second duration ability that doesnt let you do shit while its up, so basically you can run around with it up so no dps out of it. ALSO you cant cancel it early or you are fucked, its not just a stifle when its up it makes the recovery 12 seconds so if you cancel it early you will lose the 100% parry but you still cant cast shit.

altho i have heard assassins get some kind of faster recovery buff or something that might knock a few seconds off the recovery time for the end line ability thus allowing them to attack with some of the buff still left on but i dont have any idea how true this is.

im pretty sure there are better lines for an assassin to go down in pvp also
