Re: Fettering Poison
I'd rather fight a swashbuckler TBH... swashies don't get adrenaline and they've had their DPS nerfed recently. bring on the swashies.

You play a shadowknight, a Zerker and a brigand. If you can't get close enough to kill folks in that 10 seconds, then you should just /wrists and save us all from your complaints. What happens when you get into melee range of a ranger? They can't range you, now you dont need to kill them in 10 seconds. Zerkers are argueably the most powerful 1v1 class around at the momment, closely followed by brigands. you really don't have a leg to stand on here.
As for my Troubador, maybe I just know how to play one? I certainly have no problem with killing folks in under 10 seconds /shrug

Make it curable retard. If fettering procs then nobody can get close. it's not curable, it puts you at a fucking CRAWL and then, it lasts how long, especially with AAs put into them?
you dont know shit about me, so don't prelude WHAT play. You get track and evac, don't want to fight a zerker? Don't fucking fight a zerker. Shit goes bad? Just charm is hass and leave.
I find it amusing though, how many Predators/Rogues want to cry about getting wtfpwned by a BERSERKER. Theyre FIGHTERS you retards... so you can't burn a plate tank without getting your shit pushed in anymore. Cry fucking more. It's not like you can't just SNARE the goddamn thing and run off if it's not going like you want it to.

Re: Fettering Poison
Fettering is a 46 or 44% snare. All other snares are curable. Cure them and hit freedom of action. There you go, not snared, problem solved.
As for charm+evac... thats clearly an exploit and so I dont do it. If I can't win without exploiting, I dont want to win. Just like you say I don't know anything about you, you also don't know anything about me... you seem to be assuming i play a rogue/pred. I don't.

Re: Fettering Poison
Solution : gives warriors Charge ability : CC immune + run speed in combat for short duration.
Potion are good, but long time reuse so not always usefull, and a good player will always be able to kite you even if you use potions.
The proc from the pvp bow is really awesome to kite, slow delay + proc chance = proc offen.

Brig isnt even close to being second in a 1v1 fight. The list would go something like SK, Zerk, Ranger, Swash, Warlock, Warden, Brigand, Troub...

Re: Fettering Poison
A good ranger wont let you get close to him or just kill you before you spot him if you havent already.
A better ranger is already used to and prepared to go melee when someone comes at them.
The best rangers can usually still win after having fought the entire fight sprinting backwards to counter the person sprinting trying to catch them.
I agree though, fettering poison is stupid and should at minmum have a possiblity to be cured... even though it'll just reapply itself the next attack pretty much.

at the VERY least please make this curable... or reduce the snare effect by 50% for PvP. Every tool is running this now.

Build up your poison resists and you won't have a problem, genius.
STFU, stop whining and learn to play.

Re: Fettering Poison
Just curious, why did they make fettering poisons non-curable?

You need to get a fucking clue about the basics of EQ2. Resists only reduce the amount of damage you get, but they don't increase the chance at resisting a spell.
