You're a bard. I can assure you when PvP players shout "NERF SCOUTS" - a very common pastime I might add - they don't have you in mind. So relax.
On the subject of Fyreflyte, it seems not a week goes by that he doesn't do something to piss off a lot of people. And the worst part the way he goes about "fixing" his mistakes makes people even angrier.
He appears to be a very nice chap, but I think he needs to be supervised some so he doesn't keep making these mistakes.

I'm afraid you're very much wrong.
When people scream 'nerf scouts!' They usually have either track or evac in mind, more so track of late. Bards get both of those, so you'll excuse me if i tell everyone who says nerf scouts, to go DIAF. If they were saying Nerf Rogues! I wouldn't care. Nerf Predators! - Don't really care.
As for bards being overpowered... I'd actually say they're pretty damned close to balanced. I can usually kill most scouts and mages, but have major problems with healers, if I can't spike them out (PotM FTW!) before they start healing, I've pretty much lost. Fighters are touch and go, could win, could lose. I really don't think there's any classes which are stupidly overpowered at the momment. If people spent less time bitching about scouts sneaking up on them, and more time making a 'target next PvP' button, there'd be alot less cheese needed to go with all the whine. And don't tell me it doesn't work, I play a guardian as my main-alt. I fucking know it works.

Re: Dev "grandfathers in" stoneskin item for scouts in PVP
Few things..
1) I still stand by my previous statements concerning the new Itemization Dev.. plus, he's a fucking retard.
2) Scouts could & should be divided as: Rogues / Predators / Troubs / Dirges. Dirges are great to have in group for PvE, but blow complete balls in PvP compared to every other class out there. ask me how I know.
3) All I have been hearing ever since RoK came out is "Nerf Scouts' Tracking!!!!" interesting that I hear it the most NOW, when Scouts have had Tracking since the beginning of EQ2 faik.
4) There are still a shit ton of problems with balance in PvP, and many things that are still just completely broken in PvP. The likelyhood of any of them getting fixed any time soon, I'd say, is slim to none.

Yeah no shit, I actually saw an x4 RAID today. Venekor population is fine thanks.
@Willywonka:
1. Meh. I don't like decisions he's made, personally i don't give a shit about him though, just his decisions.
2. Yes they can, and yes they should. Dirges are great for PvP groups though. ANY bard is good for groups. Troubs have the benefit of being able to solo quite well though, whereas dirges (although they can) don't solo well.
3. QFE
4. QFE again.

Everyone Ive talked to said the population sucks, but I guess its easy to kill the same bots over and over to get tokens and a sense of accomplishment, man up and come to a PvP server.

Maybe you shouldn't make statements about things with only knowing the facts people told you.
And back to topic, this thread should be titled "Dev 'grandfathers in' stoneskin item for non-mages in PVP". And by the way, this proc is as overpowered for mages as it is for any other class. (speaking of PvP) For PvE I don't see a problem with giving mages a decent chance at surviving when pulling aggro, because they don't get hit that often. But in PvP mages get hit as much as every other class gets, and such a proc shouldn't be available for PvP at all.
I even thought that the Dispersion proc is totally overpowered for everyone, PvP and PvE. This proc should not exist, or may be splitted up to a stoneskin and a mana proc, with a proc chance of 1%. Stoneskin alone is overpowered, but then add the manaproc and everyone wearing 5 pieces of this is godlike. And I know a decent amount of items with this proc which are very easily to attain.

And don't forget proc in PVP = 3 triggers of stoneskin for each proc.
Those items should be only for summoners and perhaps also enchanters.
