I gotta agree with this as well. Had an encounter with this item yesterday, two people in the opposing group had these rings. It was crazy, crit landed on our whole group for 2k ish from two different players during the fight.

Overpowered. It's funny when you're on the winning side watching the magic happen, but it's too much. Hopefully the balance comes sooner than later. I'd say either (1) Keep the effect 100% but reduce the damage by at least 50% ... or ... (2) Give the effect a 10% (2.0 per minute) chance to land with the damage unchanged.

It can already be resisted fairly often from what I've heard, I think resist rates would have to be changed if the effect rate was knocked down to 10%.

peebs has the ring.. but tbh.. all it does is end the battle a little sooner, in group pvp, normally, the first group to lose a member loses the battle anyways..
he hasn't ever used grey mobs or nearly ded mobs in any fights we have had recently

not always, lots of times we have fought lost a person they got a rez and we came back to win or it has happened to us, i know i have been in a couple fights vs you guys we would drop peebs and he would get a rez and you guys would still win.

we had a 10 minute fight with onyx/kraken group and we killed broncas like 6 times in that fight and the fight could have gone either way tbh, he got rezzed each time and gained his power back and everyone was at full power or near it except 1 person and once when we dropped broncas we were able to get another down before he got rezzed which was what got us the win

or in a raid fight lots of times ive see us lose a person first but still win.

in raid pvp it does over 30% my of dps (30vs30 numbers), and it makes a certain tier 2 encounter incredibly easily. It will be nerfed. Any mage who has this knows it power
