How about just not attacking people who are standing next to a sokokar post?

Unlike scout's nearly uninterruptable evac, it is fairly easy to stop someone from using the sokokar.... unless they are already standing at the post with their window open. Attacking someone near the post is risky, and I think that is fine. PvP is supposed to be risky, isn't it?

A /yell command sounds like in-combat evac's all over again. If you really need that, there is always Bristlebane....

Even if this is Eq2 flames, it doesn't necessarily have to mean that all the replies are retarded L2P and go to PvE lol.

You suggestions to not engage when near a sok post, well this will just limit PvP imo, that is one of the reasons why I suggested this idea.

Well i don't really camp posts either, but lets think logically here. I hit I guy he gets to a post and flys off. Does it really make any sense for me to get a message " you may not fly while being hated by whoever" If they want to leave it in just so people don't turn the sokokars into the fucking Nascar circuit, with people chasing all over hell, I get that! Make it like 3 to 5 seconds then. It is frustrating you attack someone on a fucking PvP server, they fly off, and you're stuck?

there's a simple solution here: don't attack someone who's standing next to a sokokar post, zoneline, teleporter, or any other physical escape method, and expect them to not use it.

it will not stop that at all...

In Fact what it will do is people that would lose fame to someone would simply /yell them before they got into the fight so they would have 30 seconds of no reward.. trust me it would be exploited...

but i do think that people shouldnt be stuck in combat for as long as they are when someone flies away on a sokohkar... yes people that campe them should be stuck in combat BUT ive had many times when i engange someone far away from one or a reasonable distance away and they sprint away and can make it to the bird with OP sprint(not normal sprint) or i will be chasing someone from REALLY far away and ill only have like 5% more runspeed than then and i finally catch up to them and land my snare and then sprint and make it to the sokokar and barely get away..

im not complaining that they are getting away sure it sux not to get the kill but w/e just dont leave me stuck in combat from chasing a pussy that chooses to run away

If you atk someone who is in range of a sokokar be it a few feet or a short sprint distance. Isnt that basically camping a sokokar post

no im talking about the rangers that sprint with OP sprint for a full minute then i finally catch up when it wears off and they are magically near a sokokar, or a tank that is a barbarian that sprints away with their new op sprint and it lasts for like a full minute and when it wears off i can catch them or a warden that has nature walk up and i cant root them or snare them very well cuz of the snare reduction so they run and run and run then i finally catch them to be near a sokokar

is flying to terens grasp on a sokokar and seeing someone just zone through the druid ring so i jump to fight them and they run to the sokokar camping the thing NO you fucking retard. these are a few feet distances im talking about epic chases
