Re: /Yell
I wouldn't say a /yell would be a good move, but maybe something else. Like, say the player you attacked creates a distance of "x" meters away from you, than your encounter breaks (a large number like maybe 100+meters or something). But yea I do agree some of the other players though, just dont attack them if you know they had long enough to bring up their window. Thats why I like Dregs landing post the best, cause each flight path goes in a complete different direction, so it's easy to tell where the player is going. Just be quick and follow them and if your fast enough you can easily keep them from flying away again.

No thats not a solution. It is more as Pheelin said. My class has ONE interupt, ONE root, and ZERO knockbacks. I've rooted people a mile from a post, then it breaks when I do damage, so they run towards a post, and even snared they get close enough to fly. This happens all the time. It's not always about attacking people close to a post, it's more about getting stuck in combat while they are flying off. Now for classes without any root, or knockbacks, it would even be worse.

The idea is to increase pvp.
The sok posts are becoming almost another immunity and we do not need any more of them.
The distance idea is a good idea imo.

Re: /Yell
The most simple soloution is often the best. Players should automatically disengage from pvp combat when the player theyare engaged to zones, evaks, or flys on a sok/grif/cloud. That being said stop asking for game changes here. The devs rarely ever even look at the official forums and would sooner touch 5 day old roadkill baking on the side of the road than they would troll eq2flames. Post this kind of stuff on the official forums, or find another more productive outlet than eq2flames like telling all these problems with sok posts to the local drunk passed out and pissing on himself behind the local 7-11.
