I see the point of /yell in PvE, yet why isn't it in PvP? The last thing I want is to engage someone who swiftly flies away via sok bird only to leave me there (with my pants down) stuck in combat, no run speed or ability to evac etc.
Solution:
Implement a /yell for PvP
If player A /yell after engaging Player B, player B now offers no reward to Player A (similar to PvE). However, if engaged by Player A and Player B zones or flies on the sok bird they automattically /yell from Player A (and anyone else on their hate list).
Yell effects wear off after ~30 seconds (similar to how I currently stand there for 30 seconds defenceless)
Example: If player A engages Player B, then Player B flies on the sok bird. There is a no reward icon over Player A and Player B for ~30 seconds. However Player A or Player B can attack and gain full benefit from attacking and killing Player C (assuming faction rules allow it)
Benefits:- It will not leave people vulneroble after trying to initiate Pvp combat
- It will stop people using the sok bird to get a fair distance away from an engaged foe so they can prepare for the battle
