For those that do not know this is the 2handed T8 staff on the pvp merchant in Terens Grasp that goes for 400 tokens and probably has the most retarded proc I've seen being that only mages and priests can use iirc,

It has a proc that roots target for 4 sec.........WTF?
Why would you put a proc like that on a weapon for 400 tokens when mages and priests already have a root that lasts for damn near a minute and when the root is broken the target is immune for hell i cant remember offhand.

Maybe they can change the proc to something a lil more useful like a lesser illuminate which could reduce resist rates of spells by 10-20 percent for 5 sec.

I agree with the OP, root procs for mages seems rather useless.

You are a PvP noob. Immunity on all control effects on a PvP server is 1.5 times the MAXIMUM duration, fuck man....... L2P!!
