I like the idea too. And, honestly, I was quite surprised that I was allowed to have more than one when I created my first toon on Venekor.

1 toon per account on a PvP server creates more interdependency with everyone else in the community. As a result people get to know each other beyond their own guilds.

Meh.. its old school thinking. I'm still trying to adapt to the "I want to be the best and I want to achieve everything all on my own cause I don't like interacting with other people... oh.. and I want it all yesterday!" mentality.

I actually would like the idea if we were offered free transfers to this server, not making new toons.

Free transfers of one toon and I'm there. Hell I'd even PAY to transfer to it.

eh, i don't know if i'd want geared L80's going there. this idea actually started as a "create a fresh PvP server", and then i added the "one character per account" part sort of as an afterthought.

the fresh start PvP server was the point... and i'd be happy if there were some other alternate rulesets thrown in as well. maybe double or triple the experience required to level so people aren't rushing to 80 and the effort that you're putting into your character means something while you're in the process of doing it?

diluting players across servers is a bad idea also. Just look at the mulitple european pvp servers and see what I.... oh wait they don't exist!

I could only see SOE doing that if it was a different ruleset. Like adding a FFA server or something.

Regardless of how good anyone makes a new server sound, Saracen got the bottom line of it here.

I don't don't understand the one toon per account interest.

I have three accounts, I only use one slot on each account on Nagafen.

So I'd still have 3 toons on a new server.
