Somers the Hard is the NPC that gives the quest.

A NPC that's supposed to be nearby is Kilriss. Kilriss is the banker, that's the NPC missing on Nagafen. I can say with certainty Kilriss hasn't been on Nagafen in over a week, because that's when I started looking for him. The loc given by EQ2Maps and Allakhazam would place him behind a desk. There is no npc behind that desk.

I'll do what you did, and petition for a manual, GM assisted completion on both my characters. This quest is the starter quest for a line of quests, so you need this one done before you can begin the others.

He is vary rare but does spawn on vox, Might require clearing the other drakes, idk i usually catch him up at server ups.

I know the banker was up before Christmas, not sure on the date tbh. But, when I went to hail the banker, I was already 50k and it just said "Thanks for all your help" and was never completed.

The quest isn't a starter. You can do every single danak quest without ever touching Direct Reports. I know, because I did them.
