As for Bristlebane, I think we (meaning everyone with control effects) can agree that it's stupidly overpowered. Make it cure all control effects and remove immunity to them. You want to remove that mez? Well you can, but the chanter can reapply it. If you can't kill em with the surprise you get from all of a sudden being un-mezzed, then you dont deserve the kill.

And on resists... buff your casting skills. I literally see less than 10% resists on my Troub with only +30 to casting skills (and I'm level 78, easily mez 80s) and that's BEFORE i debuff mental resists. (This doesn't apply to healers or Paladins, who all seem to resist 2 out of every 3 spells)
I buff my casting skills and cast illuminate before i fight (if i get time) i dont have a prob casting mez i just have a prob killing them quickly enough before i die. At lvl 80 i will have 2 mental debuffs instead of just 1 thats a dot which might make things alittle better with resist. But i must stress if i get a resist then im dead. Troubs however do get alttle bit easier as if you get a resist you can snare and kite.

I rarely get resisted on my mezzes... however I have the same trouble with my snares that you have with mezzes... snares are curable, and I've only got one. The recast is something like 20 seconds as well.

I have no problem with people curing my debuffs, but being totally immune to all control effects for a minute? That's just stupid.

Wow your an idiot, tho i do agree conjurors are alot better then necros. Id like to see your pet solo 1 person as you run around kiting the other. I bet those grey cons think your tough shit.

What's even funnier is this is a conjy truely trying to compare to a necro. Lets see 4 items + dispersion + AA stoneskin....of course your'e going to outlive a necro. How's bout your stuns/knockbacks, we get 1 IF we have tankpet out. Fear even at master is resisted 8-10 casts, our stun lasts for a whopping 1 second, snare breaks on dmg, root breaks on dmg, and all our CC abilities are potioned off with zero effort. Now lets get to dps as a necro, for the people who still play conj and think we get massive nukes, heres a slight bit of education.
DOTS = TIME based, we get one nuke that sorry to inform the nooblet a few pages back, hits for an average of 1k, dumping back about 500-600 health back to the necro. With a 15second recast timer, so basically we get 1 nuke in per fight if we get that far.
For the "OMG you get Lifeburn!!!" people out there. We get a lifeburn, correct.....thing is lifeburn will only do 60% dmg to any one target IF we are being properly healed for the full duration. So if we fire it off and in 3 ticks we go down to 1 hp, the spell is NOT getting the full functionality, so solo a necro will drop in about 20% someone's health with lifeburn. This is also a 5 second cast spell which is rarely gotten off anyways since we just died to a scout in 3 seconds.

The people here braggin how necro's are fine are the people who are either full of shit and play scouts and are too damn scared a necro would take away their precious unearned title, OR they are lvl locked below t7.

As for the L2P statements, fuck all you scouts who think you have an ounce of skill, it takes a fucking rocket scientist to stealth, open a GPS radar unit and click 2-3 buttons from 30meters out and claim to be skilled.....what a joke.

Necros need some love in PvP, I hope SOE helps them out alittle. Maybe if you could even just shorten the times between dmg ticks on the dots or something? I don't know the solution, but they the one class in the whole game that is virtually "PvE only"


We were ridiculous in EQ1, what is this some sort of sick payback?

Load then up with Kian's, (cast while running) zanders, etc with snare. With the cures now fucked in this game (every 10 seconds) and potions having long recast, you'll keep that snare on them with alot more success.

I'm beginning to wonder if all everyone does is just say necros are terrible because the ones you do see are terrible... For being virtually a "PVE only" class i sure as hell destroyed this 80 warlock last night that engaged me, or the 80 assassin, not to mention all the other white-yellow cons at lvl 72... So far the only big losses have been to groups, I cant wait till my alt starts getting all the nifty legendary gear thats out.

Yeah but what do you do with no Undead Tide for the next ten minutes? I do agree though I havent seen a nasty Necro since Undeadservant got banned on the Justingrell account.

Who depends on Undead Tide? Look into the m1 versions of the charm undead spells for necros and tell me they can't be a strong pvp class without lifeburn and tide.
