The had attempted to fix this a while ago, but the problem became:

Once charm broke on its own through to typical breaks; the mob would just reset right away. The coercer didn't get a chance to recharm, which was even worse than what you posted.

They never tried anything else after that to fix that mechanic.

If they could make their attempted fix only happen if the coercer zones/camps etc, then that would be pretty cool. I'm guessing they haven't been able to do it though.

why is "/camp" so abhorrent to you? people have been doing it in PvP MMO's for decades now when they've had to go drop the kids off at the pool. why are you special?

Rebuffing when you box characters is a major pain in the ass, though this is a gamewide issue anyway.

He had immunity for 30 seconds upon zoning back in, you mean to tell us in all your UBERNESS you claim he was checking out, you couldn't killa non heroic chicken in under 30 seconds?

To help avoid this exploit could you just use an invis potion? Only a few mobs in JW see invis and thats a long pull to the zone line. I don't know much or really care for pvp in games that are designed for pve, but there may also be a chance that the enchanter isn't using see invis and may not even see you to bother with pulling that exploit.

In the future, you could take up tinkering for feign death and other benefits. Should some enchanter decide to try this again on you, FD or mem wipe the pet, stand up, buff up and beat the crap outta him as soon as the enchanter zones back. The bristlebane diety skill would also work nicely. If I remember right, the blessing side of the bristlebane skills will make you immune to everything under the sun (not sure if charm immunity is there though, but I know stun, root, snare, mez, and fear immunity are included) and the miracle side has a convenient mem wipe. I wonder, if you mem wipe when the enchanter zones back...would the pet attack him or go back home?

Of course, thats more of an ambushing revenge approach rather than an afk peace of mind approach.

I sort of did this once at the exact spot you mentioned...except that I'd flown back to KP post, got ganked, and the dracurion warder (82 ^^^) i had charmed proceeded to wipe the living daylights out of everyone there, and then wipe them as they revived.. I mezzed him and got him charmed back as quick as I could, but im sure some people thought i was exploiting. Just goes to show that you can put a square block (PvP) into a triangular hole (PvE) ...stupid SOE. make a better game!

Calm down son. I said I was enjoying my evening meal when this disruption occurred.

The fact that you think my claim of uberness was serious is the real joke here.

BTW: It takes me 5 secs to zone max. I recommend a RAM upgrade for joo, maybe twin Raptors as well!
